Got a Coles flybuys offer in email, save 10c per litre on "Shell V-power petrol or Shell V-power Diesel", which turned out very little Coles Express offers the V-Power Diesel.
paid a whole tank of expensive shell diesel.
Not sure if there is other people also been cheated by this fake promotion.
I had a 10cents fuel offer but excluded diesel

Maybe contact Flybuys about it? Take a photo of the receipt and hope for a reimbursement?
Had receipt scanned and send to flybuys support, they said only v-power diesel qualified the offer. If they don’t have v-power diesel available from most petrol stations, most peoples would have same experience like me, think the shell diesel as the one in the offer.

I know this is Ozbargain, but you need to think about your time as well.
I wouldn't worry too much about it, and just move on.
Think of it as a learning experience. Next time these offers come up, you definitely will be reading the offer a little bit more carefully!
It's not a fake promotion. It just can be a little bit confusing, especially if English is your second language. A small downside for having such a diverse community!

The fact that it was called Colse express should have tipped you off.
It's obviously a cheap Chinese knockoff.
