  • good luck finding a set …. went into super cheap and the clearance spanners in metric were all gone, with a few SAE sets left. You check stores for click n collect.

Option of delivery exists, but you might want to buy more than just the one set to get the most from your postage.

ToolPro Spanner Set - Flare, Metric, 5 Piece $8

  • Got one thanks, good spare/car set

  • Showing $8 for me in WA.

  • $8 qld

  • they are clearing some toolpro lines as they are getting different packaging according to the manager when I picked up some of my stuff.

    • Primarily Pliers & spanners.
New look pliers should already be on the shelf.

  • For those of you that purchased over the weekend using a Club Plus account you should be getting a loyalty credit if you bought an item that is now cheaper.

Following a conversation with SCA's club plus team today I can confirm this is NOT the case.
Club plus loyalty credit is only applicable in the event you paid RRP and the item subsequently is advertised on special in a catalogue in side of 2 weeks from your date of purchase.
In this instance we are talking about a price reduction on a deleted line.

In my situation I had to buy some other stuff today so I simply returned and repurchased 2 spanner sets.

        Thanks for checking this out.

So they won't give you credit that you have to spend at SCA, but they will let you return them and re-buy at lower price so you can spend the difference anywhere you want.

Yeah, that makes great business sense…

        • Club plus has a policy and these circumstances are outside of the policy.
Perhaps start a petition on change.org if you feel so strongly about it.

      • I bought 5 spanners sets on the weekend with Club Plus
4 of the 5 sets are now cheaper (1 went back to full price for some reason ?)
Just called the Club Plus team

        Option 1

Had no worries placing a credit on my account, just did it manually.
Already spent the credit on more spanners…

        • Hi Wayne Spoon, I also bought a couple of Toolpro tools that are now cheaper.

Are you saying that Supercheap Auto happily credited the difference in prices back to your Club Plus account simply by you asking them to?

Apparently according to some other Ozbargainers Supercheap isn't obligated to refund the difference simply because of a price change, it has to have been advertised cheaper in a SC catalogue.

        • @sof:
Not sure if they are obligated too or not but I just called the Club Plus Team and said that the spanners were now cheaper. They just worked out what the difference was and credited it to my club plus account. Which I promptly spent on more spanners…

I'd say just give them a call if you bought a few sets and think you will be using the club plus credit and see if they will do it.

        • Thanks I'll give it a try tomorrow

  • Boo, just got a call saying they were actually out of stock and it was an inventory problem. Apparently none left in Vic :S
