        spamming more*

For $3.51 less you're buying from a Chinese eBay seller with no feedback and no AU warranty.

      • -3

buy direct from supplier why not

        • If you are sure they are the supplier.

      • The stock is from Regents Park with 12 month warranty

        • +2

The seller is in china and has no feedback.

          Its a big red flag.

If you want to buy, bookmark the seller and wait until they get some feedback.

        • @xev: Didn't notice that :( cheers Harold

        • @kamban: No worries

And thanks to Clear for pointing it out originally.

  • better than xiaomi Mi robot?

    • +2

Is it even better than the Kogan $89 one?

    • nope

    • To me, Xiaomi one is excellent!

  • +1

Are you crazy. Nothing is better than Xiaomi

  • +2

I feel like people are too blase about the news that you can pop down to the Post Office to buy robots now.

It's the realised dreams of the 1950s.

ILIFE are quite a decent brand in the smart vacuum world and have been around for many years. Is this better than the more expensive Xiaomi Vacuum? Of course not don't be stupid! But it's certainly better than the crappy $89 Kogan one that was going on sale a few weeks back, and has decent reviews on Amazon.

If you go searching for reviews you'll end up finding the original V3s which has some differences compared to the V3s Pro. Full details on their website.

I personally use a V7s Pro and Xiaomi Vacuum in my house.

    • Do you feel that they do a good enough job, or do you still need to use a conventional vacuum from time to time?

      • +1

I find that they're good for maintaining clean floors. They don't suck up everything and sometimes have trouble cleaning under furniture because of the chair legs and getting on top of mats. So I go over everything once a week with a Dyson and it takes far less time than without the DJ roombas.

        • +1

          DJ ROOMBA IN THE HOUSE!

        • +1

@kmish: The best part is iRobot themselves released a guide on how to make inbuilt speakers for their vacuums.

        • +1

I like the idea of a DJ Roomba, it would give me excuse to buy another bluetooth speaker.

        • @xev: It's what I do on my ILIFE. Got a Bluetooth speaker stuck on with some tape and then get Google Home to play some Spotify tunes. Downside is it won't go under the couches now.

        • @Clear: You just need to raise your couches.

I'm considering it, I've got a standard height large ikea couch, but I'm 6'2"

The height is made for shorter people.

        • @xev: The cat likes to go climbing the underneath of the couch. They're low for a reason.

        • @Clear: True, it would give them more places to hide

    • What is the current best robot vacuum cleaner (for me mainly carpet and a vinyl kitchen) with also good cliff edge detection.

Xiaomi is on my top list but if there is something much better worth the buy I don't mind paying a little extra.

      • +1

Xiaomi 1st gen I think is the best one out there for its price currently.

        • +1

Agreed. Dont waste money on 2nd gen. Go the first gen.

        • @kelad: It'll be interesting to see how the Xiaomi Xiaowa will hold up against the Xiaomi and Roborock.

  • We need robot vacuum wars
