No stock available in WA for size S.

  • How does it compare to Champion's Reverse Weave in terms of quality?

    • It doesn't but whose going to pay 100+ for champion shit?

      • You don't. You wait for a deal on the reverse weave and then pounce.

Seems pretty obvious, don't you think?

        • Please let me know when you find that deal :)

Do hipsters wear North Face? I'm 42 and so out of the loop it's not funny. What would you call someone who wears North Face? Legitimate question.

    • +12

When you’re cold this will keep me warm

      • +4

Would you really climb the North Face wearing a hoodie?

        • +1

Would in Australia..South faces are a bit chilly though.

    • wut

    • A hipster would have a brown cardigan to match their handlebar mo. There’s no way they’d have a brand name lemblazoned all over the front of it as that is far from cool.

    • +2

      A warm person.

    • +1

Its an outdoor wear brand, why would it be hipster?

    • I'm 43 and not hipster. Just bought one. Decent looking jumper no matter what. .

    • north face is too mainstream for hipsters …. this is cotton poly bend …. so equivalent of $10 big w or kmart hoodie ……

      • +2

When hipsters shop online, they sort by least popular :)

      • my burberry trenchcoat is made from a cotton poly blend…so should I also assume its Kmart quality?

    • It's not secondhand

      That's because you're a ManUtdFan, not LiverpoolFan.

      • +1

Not here to disrespect but I tell you the truth, Liverpool has not one a single Premier League title.. not a big club.. aint the fan of those clubs mentioned above anyway

        Says Gunners.

      • Bet you couldnt even name half of liverpools starting team

  • Bought one to do a fuel runner tonight THANKS OP

  • I bought two of these on separate visits to the US and they turned out to be two of the most comfortable hoodies I own (and I live in those things!). $29 is cheaper then the standard price in the US so definitely worth grabbing if you have a chance. They are definitely not a hipster brand - more popular with American college students and suburban families.

  • 5000 clicks in 58mins?

Surely not? That is an incredible pull if true.

I bought this one in store. It was $29 - 30%, and then i got an additional 20% staff discount. Ended up being $16

Did you try to purchase it? You will get error message once you try to pay. The website is crap..

        • -1

Wow thanks for the negs guys

        • +2

That's because they disagree with you negging this deal.

        • -2

Wow thanks for the negs guys

        • +5

@DaTa: Didn't downvote your comment, but I find it hypocritical that you're mad about being downvoted, yet you were the only one to neg the deal despite it being long marked OOS before your majesty arrived. Just my.02 FWIW.

        • @maburu1: negged for the shit site, kind of the reason I don't shop DJ and Myers and when they may actually have a bargain its unobtainable, North face rrp in Australia just sucks also. Pretty much sums up why I negged

      • +2

        The website is crap..

What do you expect? Website managed by IBM.

  • -6

    still available for delivery.

    • doesnt work for me once you go to checkout

  • I bought a few North Face goodies, t-shirts recently including DJ, not great quality, no way worth the rrp.

    • Agree not much better than Kmart/bigw quality really.

  • My order is ready to be picked up
Hopefully s isn't too small for me

  • Kangaroo hand pocket

Great for when you're spooning with a kangaroo

  • Greenhills and Warringah Mall, both in NSW have XL in stock

  • So I went to DJ at Canberra Centre today. (Website has listed the item as "out of stock".)

There are stocks of the same kind but different color (gray with white stencils) and they are priced at full. The sales lady saw me and immediately said that these were just unpacked yesterday and are at full price.

I suspect DJ yanked the black one off the display because IBM has put the wrong price on the website (again).

I hope the people who got this via C&C are able to claim them.

  • Received a phone call today to say they had no stock despite C&C went through online. Refund was given.

    • same. More often than not my C&C orders with DJ and Myer end up with a call from customer service saying the product is OOS. It's gotten to a point where i can recognise DJ's number when they call.

      sigh

      • Same.

  • Cheers OP, picked mine up from Knifepoint Highpoint. Was expecting it to be cancelled for the reasons mentioned above. There were also some North Face tees on sale which were eligible for a further 30% off.

  • Picked mine up from Chadstone, it's unfortunate that some orders were refunded.

    • What size did you buy? My C&C was for a size small but got the OOS call.

      • Medium

  • Order shows cancelled on the website. But I didn't get a call or email notification.

I paid by card and they didn't refund either. Anyone?

    • I'd suggest giving them a call. If it was C&C, it should've been ready for collection early this week.

  • Beware when paying via PayPal that they will refuse to refund you if you return goods for change or mind or even faulty goods. DJs will only provide a gift card to the value of your purchase.

    • +1

Just had that same argument with DJ's 5 mins ago over an item ordered paid via PayPal and not in stock - I held my ground and insisted on a full refund and DJ's agreed to refund back to PayPal account - so they will issue a refund if pushed

      • +1

Yeah they're really skirting the law on any return that's not change of mind. They must offer a refund and not a store card according to the law… Really makes me hesitant to support a business that operates like this.

For change of mind it's fine, buyer beware.

Worst case if it's a faulty good or OOS or whatever - if you struggle with customer service you can initiate a dispute through PayPal.
