    $35 Welcome Offer

    whats this

  • do not understand how its $64.10

    • They would have factored in the capsule credit as part of the discount.

  • Which store was it $199? Is this nationwide? Can anyone confirm another store at this price?

    • +1

Discount is applied when you add to cart.

Save 67% on Breville Nespresso Expert & Milk Black. Discount applied in shopping bag. T&C’s

      • Works out $197.67 online, slightly cheaper.

    • +3

It’s nationwide; it’s in the mid season sale

      • Do you know when the sale ends? Entertainment Book is saying up to 2 business days to deliver the 10% off David Jones egift cards

        • +2

I think it ends on the 29th of April

        • +2

The Home Mid Season Sale ends on April 22.

now this looks like a deal! can someone pls tell me what capsule they use ?

  • Grabbed one online (adding to cart applies discount and gives free shipping), didn't want to wait to find out what this welcome offer is as I couldn't find anything online etc. and risk missing out.

    • That's what happened to me…added to cart, then was checking out the other offer / credits…it's now out of stock…sigh…

  • a further 10% off using my rewards program (10% off DJ gift cards) .. nice

still wondering how to get $35 welcome offer before i pull the trigger

  • +2

You c can choose one of the 3 gifts with welcome offer https://www.nespresso.com/uk/en/new-to-nespresso

  • +1

As above, the $35 welcome offer appears to be the value of the most expensive free gift when purchasing a nespresso 150 pod welcome pack

    out of stock…sigh

  • +3

Good price but under the hood all the nespresso machines are the same - all 19 bar

Just buy the cheaper one although at this price a few more dollars doesn't hurt

    • $64 seems to be the cheapest one at the moment.

    • This model has some features the other Nespresso machines don't have.

      Americano mode
      Water temperature setting
      Bluetooth connectivity
      - Control settings and make coffee remotely, including scheduled
      - Notification when coffee capsules running out

Bluetooth features work as advertised but really just a gimick. It can't control the attached milk warmer. You have to manually add the milk to your coffee. You still need to insert a capsule.

If you take coffee without milk you could put a capsule and water in the night before and put your cup in place. Then either schedule or remotely make it before getting out of bed.

Definitely not worth $599 but worth a go with this deal.

      • +2

Yeah but not much effort to push a button in the morning

        • +3

The bluetooth "feature" is just to get their online pod ordering app on your phone .
          I was curious and installed it , It's a con .

        • +3

True - it's getting out of bed in the first place that's the challenge.

When you hear the coffee machine (which we named Kevin) churn out that shot of coffee into a waiting glass at 6AM it's more incentive to get out of bed.

Note - I don't have this specific model - I have one of the other Nespresso Bluetooth models.

  • so what is the final price after all discount? -_-

  • Bugger, in cart but wouldn't check out

  • +1

Can anyone recommend something similar that takes Nespresso capsules with a milk frother for a similar price?

  • +1

    Out of stock :(

    • +1

try submitting by phone. My order went through after a few attempts.

      • Still not working :(

  • +1

    HOLY MOTHER.F.K.

  • Welcome offer $35 gift seems to require at least $100 spend (or more).

That spend does not seem to be factored into the $64.10.

Great deal though (hope the cash back hasn’t expired).

  • Nooooooooo!

EDIT: Just tried by phone and submitted my order and payment went through paypal!…now the waiting games begin.

  • Dammnit! Out of stock…

  • Just ordered one… I guess in the nick of time… Thanks OP :)

Anyone had the frother and noticed the coating coming off?

    • Yes. I’ve had four frothers and it happened to every one. It’s a really substandard product.

Eventually got a lavazza frother (from the UK though - haven’t checked if they have it here). It’s like chalk and cheese. Froths better, no coating, can be washed in the dishwasher. It’s a game changer. I still have the Nespresso machine, but are use a different frother now

  • well i got one after multiple tries .. but i’m not keeping my hopes up till i see it in person .. last time DJ sent me a text and asked me to call them up for a refund.. lady on the line was rude as hell as well

David jones bondi still have some in stock, go tomorrow for instant redemption from nespresso demonstrator from 11am to 5pm

    • Out of stock as it appears on its website.

  • wish it will come back in stock. seems like a good deal.

edit : kept trying and managed to order 1.

    • did you just keep hitting the "Next" button?

  • Out of stock, sigh. Will try my luck tomorrow at Bondi as someone mentioned

  • Sorry how do you get to $64.10? You still have to pay ~$150/160 for this thing right? Everything else is just free stuff.

    • Yes.
Some think added value is $$ saved.
Personally I doubt I would have bought the coffee pack if it weren't included, nor would I spend enough time to get a $35 gift.

    • Certainly not $64. I paid 197.65 for this and if this deal through then I would get $40 cashback and $40 worth capsules which I would have bought anyway. So the deal value comes out to be roughly $117. Now if u get the 4.5% cashback then this could further tumble downto ~$109. I am not counting the welcome gift as u have to spendd an awful lot of money trying coffee that you may not even like.

  • No more stock

The next best thing to do is to go to DJ first thing in the morning and get hold of whatever is left in individual stores

    • Chadstom has 7 I just rang befor closing got 2 put away for pick up there $197 they giv u rebate form for $80

      • I picked up from Chaddy too, and all the stocks there have been put on hold so nothing's left there technically. The guy didn't give me a form though, and I thought the claim is done online, not through a form?

        • I decided to go tonight instead of tomorrow they gave me a paper explaining how to claim online

        • @Dex38313: ah I see, that makes sense now

  • managed to order one by phone… confirmation email yet to arrive and it has been an hour since purchase. It’s a wating game. Shall wait and see…

  • Nice discount if RRP is accurate, though I struggle to understand how this is valued any more than the cheaper ones. Seems to have basically exactly the same functionality, just a different design, and a lot more expensive (RRP). Seems to be hugely inflated.
    A bargain at $64.10 though!

    • +1

slightly improving in function such as Bluetooth, water temp and cup size, However, all plastic finish and quality issue for someone unit…

  • Just called up and got one reserved in store.

  • Go in store. I got one this morning.

  • +1

Got one DJ Chermside. Lots of stock

    • Chermside had 4 at 9.30am

  • Got a week old display unit at Hornsby with a further 10% off

  • Some strange math methods in here

    • It's not like maths is a universal language ;)

  • All sold out Glen Waverley and Chadstone - still ring around

  • I rang Highpoint David Jones at 11:40ish and was informed all stores in Victoria are sold out, but was told Adelaide Central Plaza has 11 and Warringah Mall has 9 units in stock. I ordered over the phone from Adelaide and paid the $9.95 delivery fee.

    • thought delivery is free on the website?

      • +1

Standard delivery is free for Online orders over $100. Stores will charge $9.95 for standard delivery regardless of cost of item as it gets sent direct from the store, not the warehouse like Online orders.

  • Malvern David jones has 7 I rang this morning I got 2 Doncaster they had 3

    • Just called all sold out

      • They told me same at Doncaster but I went in had 3
Go instore they say sold out because the system says sold out the lady said to me none left I said have a look she found 3

        • I've just been to Doncaster and was told I got the last one.

        • @astro81: All sold out, just went there.

    • I rang Malvern at 10am and they put the last one on hold for me out of 5 they had on hand. when I went in 30mins later one of the ladies was on the phone to someone asking for it but obv they were sold out.
they had no idea why they all of a sudden sold out in a few hours when the sale had been going on for weeks. I mentioned ozbargain and she said, ah yeah thought as much. funny stuff.

  • Thanks OP! Got the last one at Queens Plaza :D

  • Thanks op!! Got the last one too

  • +1

Missed the deal, but wow, I’m impressed.
    Well done OP!

    Ugly machine

  • There's one more left at MacArthur square

  • Look like one expensive pod machine on sale :)

  • Thanks OP - this was a good find!

There were three units at Garden City (QLD) this morning - managed to grab one of the last ones!

  • Managed to grab the last one from Warringah Mall. Market Street was out of stock. Great find OP. We can now put our Inissia out to pasture.

  • We picked up 2 this morning at the Wollongong Store. They had another 3 still there

  • Time for price match at other retailers?

    • Try applianceonline for a price match. They are normally pretty good with these type of things.

  • Great deal but looks like sold out everywhere within about an hour drive from me. Kotara tuggerah. Greenhills. Chatswood and hornsby all out

  • -1

Great find OP, I also appreciate the breakdown of the discounts. Does anyone know whether the welcome offer still let you redeem the 4 cup and saucer set with the 150 capsule pack or just the 2 cup and saucer set?

  • Got told there’s is no stock left in Victoria stores. Bourke street display sold. You could try other stores display stock.

    • Chadstone wouldn't sell the display model :/

  • So I click the link and it says $599 but in store will be $199? Anyone know if any in stock in Perth?
