For virtual reality, Oculus or Vive external sensors definitely offer better tracking.

The Acer Mixed Reality Headset has dual 2.89" LCD displays, each with 1440 x 1440 resolution, for a total resolution of 2880 x 1440. It has a field of view of 105°. It has a built-in 13' Y-cable that has a USB 3.0 and an HDMI 2.0 plug to connect to your computer. You'll be able to move around without any additional external sensors. Please note that the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is required.

  I have this setup. For $200 that is really good value!
  Highly recommend it

  Tracking is smooth and resolution better than vive and oculus. Great because you don't need extra sensors to play games.

      Not really. Only problem is that my laptop isn't a gaming machine so only has onboard Intel graphics.
      Having said that, it can still run VR games in a lower resolution.

      Note that you might be able to get the Ghostbusters game for free via redemption with this headset.

  Dell also has the visor on sale currently for $599 for those who prefer local stock of a decent WMR headset
