Long story short, I need jeans that are pretty short in the leg and these are notoriously hard to find in Australia.
I would like to avoid the hassle and find a place that sells Levis 511, (or other pants) where i can choose a 32 Waist, but a 29 Leg.
Anyone got any ideas?
Buy a pair of size 32 waist when it's on sale and take it to the tailor. They'll cut it for $15-20.
This will not be as good as pair which was designed for a 29” length.

Email these guys and see what they can do. If not just get them altered
Alteration will not be as good a fit or style over a pair that was designed and cut got a 29” leg.
Costco sells Levis in shorter lengths and so do the Levi store. Otherwise try Amazon.com (but there is restrictions sending them to Australia) or ebay.

if you're in melbourne, go to Dejour Jeans in Brunswick and get a pair made for you. Think its like $60, including alterations
I found the quality lacking. The denim is so thin.

I got Levi’s there recently. Had to pay a premium for a discontinued pair (505 regular leg). Worth it though

I am in the same situation and I usually have to get 33W 30L but in your case finding 32W 30L would be quite easy as that is pretty much the standard length for the 32 waist. If you are not too concerned about the one inch difference in length then you already have plenty of options both online and in-store. But if you really have to stick with 29" then go to a Levis store and they do length alterations for free (I usually go to Melbourne Central Store)

Sometimes even 30L isn't that easy to find. They always have it at G-Star.
Length alterations are not as good a fit as a jeans made to a set length.
In the past I used priceusa after a finding a cheap USA Levi store.
Worked out cheaper than buying in Oz and altering (which wouldn’t be the same drop).
However, last time I was in New York, I bought from the Macy’s clearance area for Levis. Also, if you go to Hawaii maceys at Ala Moana have great prices and sizes too.
