Cordless Phone with Bluetooth for Landline (VoIP Using Cisco Spe122) and Mobile Phone

Hi,
I am looking at replacing my parents (in their 70s) cordless handset with bluetooth function so I can have it link to their mobile phone when they are at home, budget is $150 max, have been looking at the Panasonic kx-tg7893 series and the uniden 3216+1 but the review stated that both is not user friendly, any recommendation please. Need to have handsfree or speaker on the handset and volume is loud as both wear hearing aids

Thanks

  • I use the uniden xdect 8315. I plug it into my VoIP enabled modem and pair it with my mobile phone while at home. I think it's easy enough to use, not really that many options. The loudspeaker is pretty standard I think. Was about $100 at Harvey Norman a year ago.

  • Make sure the user friendliness issue isn't just with the set up, if it is hard to set up but then works fine without having to touch it afterward, then you can just do the set up and your parents won't have any issue using it.

  • With the Panasonic tg 7893 3 clicks to get to phone book and handset and mobile phone book is 2 separate, button is too soft

Dect 3216, volume (not the ring volume) is soft, hard to hear the other party even on max volume…
