    How much are they normally?

I haven’t had them for many years but I thought they were around $2 each or $1 in a dozen.

  • +11

The best KK deal for me remains to be this one, $4.76 for a dozen. Bought 7 dozens myself, spread across 60 days to pickup.

    • bave you gained any weight these past 2 months?

      • +2

Gained weight and diabetes as an added bonus.

    • Well if the $10 discount applies, then it will be $2.00 for a dozen :)

      • Not available online though in-store only

  • +1

I remember when fundraisers sold these and they were always $12 for a dozen. Wouldn't pay any more for them anyway, they aren't that great and it's just sugar and flour. Not too many stores around these days either.

    • +5

      Sugar, flour AND FAT!

        • +3

Lol - so we won't be having the desert tonight madam?

        • Woooo. Didn't expect the "trigger"

        • +4

You're the idiot who's fine with second hand smoke from cigarettes; your opinion is not valid.

        • TL;DR, down voted

    will donut king price match?

    • yes i called and they said they would !!

    • do donut king do orginal glazed aswell?

    • do donut king do orginal glazed aswell?

  • Good price, just had some as a party feature, $20 a dozen for glazed and $23 for a dozen for mixed. Nice saving of $8 for a Tuesday!

  • Boggles my mind why people choose original glazed over assorted. The original glazed are so bland and full of air, while the flavoured and filled donuts are just so delicious and interesting.
They give away the original glazed for free with the 7/11 app, you can just keep making new accounts to get more. They're not worth anything.

    • +16

Pretty sure there's meth in the glaze. So addictive.

    • +8

Anything from KK other than original glazed isn't worth eating.

  • +6

Once upon a time people queued for 2 hours for these. Those people were idiots.

    • people are sheep

    • +3

Same goes for those Apple idiots who queue up for hours if not days for the new iPhone. Or that Chinese kid who sold one of his kidneys to buy the new iPhone.

      • And when they don't queue up you get aresholes claiming Apple is doomed. But this is off topic so take your bias elsewhere.

        • +2

Can you explain how this is bias?

        • The apple products are widely and easily available once released. Therefore disdain for the clowns who camp outside the stores to have the product one or two days sooner is more than well placed.

      • Rumour is he sold both corneas this time around as Apple released iPhone 8 and X.

    • I disagree.

Krispy Kreme donuts are amazing the first time you try them

Especially when they were just cooked 2 minutes ago.

      • No donut ever made is worth lining up 2 hours for.

    • Once upon a time people queued for 2 hours for these. Those people were idiots.

Not as stupid as whoever launched Krispy Kreme in Australia.

Despite the crazy popularity, they still announced a couple of years later that they hadn't had as much sales as they'd hoped and shut down a bunch of their shops.

Like, what was their plan that "people queuing out onto the street" wasn't enough to keep the doors open? Where they expecting our entire population to start eating them instead of food for 3 meals a day?

At least they didn't withdraw from Oz completely like Taco Bell after it's success was also declared disappointing. But come on…

Melbourne airport is always doing extra good. Only because Tasmanians queue up to smuggle them back home.

    • there were people bring boxes these from Sydney (before Melbourne had opened their first store). i was working in the airport wondering wtf.

    Beetus in a box.

  • I am using my birthday voucher and claiming this deal this week too.
That will be two dozen donuts. I welcome the diabetes.

    • What is the birthday voucher?

Also does birthday gotta be tomorrow to claim?

      • No they give you the voucher a few days before your birthday. It has a one week expiry but you are able to preorder for a later date online. Even though mine expires Wednesday (which is a public holiday) I booked pickup for Thursday.

    • What does said birthday voucher entitle one to?

      • $10 off any online order or a free 4 pack of original glazed.

    Christmas present sorted

    ROFL, overpriced.
In here they cost less than $5.50/dozen for any KK variant donuts. (link below)

    • +3

Yes but surely there are other differences, like wages.

      • ROFL, I'm sure you want to be paid in their currency too

    • Malaysia?

      • Indonesia by the look of it.

  • +1

This is how much they should be normally. Otherwise, completely and utterly overpriced.

  • +2

I don't understand how some sugar and dough can be so expensive.

  • +2

I hope people realise $12 adozen is not cheep if u buy 2 boxes at $12 that’s $24 it’s only normally $29 for two dozen so u r not saving much

    • So just buy 1

  • These things are awful…….. So over rated, no dough, just fairy floss style sugar. I'd rather a coles one.

Also $1 a donut? A 2$ half dozen at Coles, cold cinamon ones are better.

  • +4

Why there is always deal on Sugary and Junk food? No good deal on Healthy food(Though its a another debate what is healthy food)

    • there's always a sale on spring water at coles.

    • Need more protein powder, chicken, spinach, coconut oil, blueberries, kale, BRAZIL NUTS (insane right now) etc.

I got $129 for large bunches of spinach @ Dandenong Market this weekend, the cheapest I see in Richmond, ever is $2.99, sigh.

  • Dam its cheaper, They have the 2 dozens for $30 but a dozen for 12 I guess its not bad

  • +1

No good if your nowhere near an outlet. So disappointed. Its been proven that most people will go for the glazed version if presented with other donuts. Something in our minds says it is best due to look.

    • +1

      huh?

      • The glazing suggests its fatty and our minds tend to go for that over say a chocolate topped one. Most chosen when compared to others if presented in a tray.

    • I've tried most of them - original glazed is my favourite hands down. I hardly even consider the others now.
