USB-C to Lightning Cable $13.84 Delivered @ Cables Online

Apple allow fast charging on the iPhonw X, however, they kindly can’t supply the USB-C to iphone cable when purchasing the iPhone X due to their competitive pricing at $1700 😳🙄.

These cables usually run at about $30 from Apple. Pair this up with something like the Blitzwolf USB PD USB C adapter here we might be able to experience what cheaper android users have been enjoying for a while.

Apple only allowed type c to lightning mfi certification recent. Non-mfi will not support fast charging

    • Non-mfi will not support fast charging

is there any way to confirm this please ?

When these cables are not MFI, even if they were a $1, it ends up being useless. I've bought a few from ebay before, just ended up in the bin.

    • yep, unless their Apple, Blitzwolf or Amazon, then IMHO they're more likely then not just junk.
I've had no name from ebay, belkin, kmart/JB/HN own brand jobbies, they've all lasted less then 3mths (some never even worked from the start).

Blitzwolf make the best ones (even better then apple).

  • Hmmm I wonder if the banggood charger would work to charge my MacBook Pro USB c https://www.banggood.com/BlitzWolf-BW-S11-30W-Type-C-PDQC3_0…

    • I think the macbook pro's require 60W+ chargers

      • Oh ok. Thought this might be a cheap spare. All these new cables / chargers and specifications.

  • Looks like a good price but personally i wouldn't use it on a $1700 phone. Better go with official cables and if any issues the warranty should cover.

Apple don't even sell these cables. Are these even branded? How much are THESE cables usually cost?

  • +3

You can’t really compare a no name cable to an Apple branded cable and say something along the lines of ‘Apple have these for $30”, that’s like saying ‘Porsche sell cars, my Hyundai is a car, wow it is a bargain!”

    • I’m Not sure that’s an accurate comparison. I have amazon branded lightning cables that work identically to Apple ones and cost me $6

      • +2

Yes, but again, you can’t compare two products from different brands and say they are the same thing.
        It’s like comparing Apples to Orang… I mean USB C cables…

  • I got an official cable and love it. It feels thicker and sturdier. If I could get just as good generics for half the price that would be great. No 2M option though?

    • ever used a Blitzwolf cable? Now they make quality cables. hopefully they'll have some MFI cert USB-C cables in the next few months

  • The blurb on this cable doesn't mention fast charging, sorry Op but I doubt it'll do it.

This USB Type-C male to Apple Lightning allows users to connect their Apple iPad or iPhone to a USB type-C device such as laptops, tablets, MacBook and smartphones. Fast data sync. Perfect choice for home and office use.

    • Worth a crack. Thanks mate
