Not very convincing. Excludes Diesel and LPG for a start.
Local pricing in Canberra at Coles Express is rarely competitive - and if you're prepared to drive as far as the ACT Costco outlet, the prices both there and at the 'We'll-grudgingly-price-match' Woolworths fuel will beat Coles Express by an indecent margin.
even with this voucher, it would bring them down to still about 10 cents more expensive than any other servo in my area.

AMEX hardly ever send out emails about their offers. Some don't even appear in your account until after you subscribe to their offer.
Shell Express always email these offers to the people they are targetting.Hardly the same thing.
What a co-incidence - Deidre Chambers!. Fuel companies raise prices by nearly 30 cents a litre ($1.56 in Brisbane at moment) and then offer a discount up to 24 cents per litre. When is the ACCC and the Govt going to get serious on this stuff!

Western Australian fuel consumers benefit from price transparency and reduced price volatility because service stations must notify FuelWatch of their following day's prices by 2pm each day. These prices are ‘locked in’ for 24 hours from 6am so drivers can make the best decision on where and when to purchase their fuel.
Petrol prices from around the state are also posted on the FuelWatch website by 2:30 pm each afternoon for the following day. This means motorists can see, compare prices and find the cheapest fuel in their area before they head to the bowser.

Fuelwatch is not as it used to be. 2 days ago their pricing was way out and incorrect. Around 2 weeks ago same thing. cannot be relied on now.
@binatang: I thought the fuel stations price had to match what they notified fuelwatch with - as they can be fined if it is not.
Having said that I have noticed for a long time the SSL Certificate for the fulewatch domain has not been signed correctly and you would think someone would have fixed it by now.@Elijha:
On my 2 searches 2 days ago and around 2 weeks ago, the stations they listed as near to me were cheaper than what FW listed.
