      Are you even an Ozbarginer? Who uses their real email and phone numbers for these sort of things? Even if they require legit ones for verification, any ozbargainers would have dozens laying around with out resorting to 10 minute mail and the like.

      Btw, I get a feeling that this is going to get ozbargained HARD. Used a old pizza mogul email, but 10 minute would do as well, no other verification, and the voucher they send is just a generic email, no redemption code, no nothing.

      I applied through two emails and got the same image on both. Looks completely generic - so, will get ozbargained heavily. Get in early to avoid crowds.

        Nvm. It was bad. The bowls were ready but they werent calling any names out. There were at least 10 bowls increasing and the staff would just look at it and put it back down. Each person had to ask a staff and then they'd look around and give you one. I don't understand why they wouldn't quickly pack them all and give them away so the crowd could disperse.

          Damn I didn't check this until now. I was starving at 11:30 and ended up buying food. I may have walked to gateway but was afraid fainting from lack of food xD
          How was the rice? Similar to the traditional broken rice?

          @charzy: A bit dry, but better with the accompanying container of sauce. Lots of veg. And tasty meat, too, in my case, beef, chicken and pork was also available.

          Yeah it's normal with traditional com tham that it's a bit dry until you pour the fish sauce over it.
          Should try the real thing at a viet restaurant, quite tasty especially if they charcoal grill the pork!

    Just under a 10 minute line at the Canberra Centre followed by an approx 30 minute wait for the deal. They weren't giving out the usual buzzers that they give for orders. Ordered, left and will come back closer to the time and see if there is anything for me

    Judging on how luke warm this one feels, I suspect this was ready quicker than 30 minutes. That said I don' have any idea what temperature it is meant to be served at though so maybe this is perfect. What is com anyway?

      Quite quick (5 mins) but they don't seem to know what "no chilli" means lol. Shitload of rice and not much else I can taste besides chilli.

    I regularly have the rice and chicken ribs at Roll’d… actually it’s the only thing I ever have.

    Today it was of the poorest quality. Yeah free is great and all but I feel they are shooting themselves in the foot. No way I’d come back to Roll’d if this was my only experience of it - the rice was undercooked, chalky and the chicken ribs (just 5 pieces) were overcooked and dry.

    bull crap, went there at 12pm and they said they ran out of the free meals and only start doing it again at 2pm. No one is stupid enough to believe that is the real reason, they just don't want to give free meals during lunch time! Stupid and misleading promotion.

        you saw the feedbacks on this thread? there are quite a lot disappointed people right? i guess the marketing team needed to organize this more properly no?
        ive tried a few freebie (burgers etc)from ozbargain, hehe, first time didn't get food, at least mad mex told you there are 50 only, so you have a measure.
        i can elaborate people from that "that country" more but i'm busy at the moment. i guess you are from "that country" or you have someone close from "that country" hehe

          FYI, I am not from "that country" or have anyone close from "that country". I just thought it has nothing to do with "whatever country". It's simply a marketing failure, regardless of any country.. If you want to blame someone / something, blame correctly. In this case, blame the company/management, not "that country". Or maybe just blame yourself for not getting there earlier, don't blame all of the people from "that country"…
