Sony KD75X9000E 75" 4K LCD LED TV - $3836 + $77 Delivery @ Video Pro eBay

PRAISE

I have been watching this tv for a while, unfortunately for me i have already pulled the trigger at a higher price a month ago. This is the cheapest this TV has ever been and perhaps ever will be considering it is now discontinued. The cheapest price before was a targeted EB Games deal which was $3999 delivered. This was one of the most highly rated tv of 2017 and probably the best quality vs value for a 75".

Video Pro Ebay: After 20% off $3836 + $77 = $3913 Delivered.

  • Match it to the shopback eBay cashback (which is 5% tonight only) and you get an even bigger saving? (Maybe)

    • Good point! However just to be clear the cash back for shopback eBay is capped at $50 which makes it similar to cashrewards. I've used cashrewards many times and had no issues in the claims. Never used shopback so i cannot really comment there…

      • You’re a genius!!!! I didn’t know that!!

        • How does that make them a genius?

  • Wait, did you say ebgames sell TVs?

  • Great price. I was looking at this TV for a while as well.

  • +3

What makes this TV special apart from the high quality Sony processing is the fact it is a backlit tv allowing for multi zone backlight dimming. Black blacks and super bright whites.

    • Totally agree. I ended up getting a Panasonic. I didn't realise how important brightness is.

  • +1

Folks have the 65”. Great tv

  • If I save up $600 every month until the end of the year I might just be able to afford this.. but then this means no splurging on nice meals and cutting down on a few things I have already cut down on.

I know it is kind of already well known amongst the tv ozbargain community but can we get some decent product tagging etiquette going please.. like UHD TV, 75 inch, 4k, HDR, LED TV, LCD TV

Helps with looking back at passed historical deals unless you guys you know don't want a good tagging system for historical purposes.

  • Thanks OP. GREAT price for a great TV, but I don't think I can move from my plasma back to a lcd, just can't handle the grey blacks.

    • Wow people still thinking 15yo tech is still superior…. Have you actually gone into a store to look at this panel, guessing not.

      • Never owned a plasma TV but there, seems to be truth to the claim. From Wikipedia:

"They had a very low-luminance "dark-room" black level compared with the lighter grey of the unilluminated parts of an LCD screen (as plasma panels are locally lit and do not require a backlight, blacks are blacker on plasmas and greyer on LCDs)."

  • Is this better than hisense n7?

    • yes.

      • How can you say its better ? Sony doesn't list any actual specs. Like how many dimming zones , if its full array, contrast ratio, brightness, color gamut, panel depth ???????
