Can We Get a Dedicated Page or Forum Thread Dedicated to Grocery Deals

Wait hear me out.

I know grocery already exists but what I meant was a simplified page or thread on current grocery vouchers or free delivery deals etc and not clumped with grocery item specials and deals.

So essentially we will have a grocery page for when ice-cream and what not goes on sale and another page for when free delivery and voucher codes for minimum spend and etc go live.

Just want to simplify the process of spotting coles and woolworths online shopping savings easier and to know when delivery deals arrive.

Maybe add a splitting category on the coles and woolworths page for delivery and $ off deals to separate from item specials and flash sales on items.

Tl;Dr segregation of the store products and store services deals

What do you guys reckon? We live in a world of convenience so I thought this might be a good idea.

You can already use the search function for a particular shop. Woolies and Coles aren't the only grocery stores. There's others like IGA, Aldi, etc too.

How hard is it to scroll a little?

    • Just want a separate tag for store service deals and minimum spend off type deals to segregate from the item product deals.

Like how we have upcoming, existing/current and expired deals can we get maybe a separate page for grocery item deals and delivery and $ off deals.

There are a few problems with this, mainly because

        1. Lots of Ozbargainers don't tag deals correctly and often use tags in the wrong places, or invent their own tags

        2. There really isn't that many of these so called 'store service' deals active at any time to justify having a separate page for them.

        3. Some offers are targeted to specific people

As a work around, you could just bookmark or subscribe to supermarket store pages,

        e.g Coles
        Woolworths
        Flybuys
        WW Rewards

and so on, and simply browse through them. Most offers have a short expiry anyway so there's not many to go through.

        • Off topic question.

What is flybuys points mainly used for and how to get them, is it free to get a card like Woolworths rewards card or is there some criteria or annual fee.

I think I have a velocity card but wasn't sure what is the best or most common free flybuys card since coles don't really advertise one or do they.

        • @AlienC:

It is Australia's largest loyalty program, with over 10 million flybuys cardholders in over 5.5 million Australian households

  • Hi do you want to work together? I can make an app that hooks into API and pull these deals together, with alerts, shopping list. It doesn't need be Colesworths it can go beyond to local grocery markets.
