Get receipt from deal mod removed [WA] Ryobi 2000W 2200PSI Pressure Washer Clearance $50 (Was $229)

Despite the mod removing it instantly, I was told by Bunnings they would match with a receipt. Does anyone know who posted it so I can get in touch to obtain a receipt?

          I think mods shouldn’t as quick to remove posts, maybe flag them ad potentially obtainable but still checkable.

    Deal was remove 55 minutes after it was posted. Here's the receipt from OP.

    That post was reported as with insufficient quantity, as in the comments quite a few users have tried contacting different Bunnings store but have no stock. Moderators can only operate from the information shared by the community, and from the comments it appear that those were ex-display units and out-of-stock elsewhere. Hence a decision was made that it's an "Insufficient Quantity" deal, thus cannot be posted on OzBargain.

    I've been turned away when trying to price match another Bunnings, even with a receipt.

    Please let me know if you're successful; $50 for this is a steal.

    Joondalup marked down to $99 i guess you could try and price match. Joondalup and Clarkson have never let me price match a different bunnings before.

    FYI from deal comment and reports from members

    I called Bunnings Clarkson up and they said it was a ex-display model with damage.
    So that is why they marked it down to $50

    Thus the deal was removed as unobtainable, not just a case of insufficient quantity which we can move to the insufficient quantity forum post.

    Bunnings just agreed to give it to me for that price.

    Will collect it in a couple of hours and post a second receipt of it.

    I called around to various stores in SA (Munno Para West, Prospect, Parafield, Windsor Gardens, Woodville) but was declined each time.

    I was told the specific store where OP got lucky was likely clearing stock either due to damage, they were down to the last remaining units and needed to clear or they had an excess and were clearing a small amount specifically.

    For the record, the stores I called had between 8 to 14 units in stock.

      I would use the argument that the receipt I uploaded does not mention clearance item. And when I got it the item was not labelled clearance.
