I was out at Olympic Park and saw that Samsonite have a pop up store at Hall 5, offering over 50% RRP
Picked up 2 x 81cm bags for $180 each, with a rrp of $799.
They still have heaps of stock

There is a crypto currency and business to business expo on at the same location. It is random, as 1/2 the people are Chinese just buying Samsonite.

Have you checked the RRP on the actual Samsonite website? Those signs might be misleading.

We only checked the case we got, which is the samsonite velocita fl 81cm for $180They all have RRP prices which match the online RRP, but have 50-80% discount stickers on them, or new prices which are even more of a discount, like what I got.

Was there at 11am and there were quite a few Cosmolite and Firelite (mostly small size though) … However they are only 50% off the RRP on thr ticket, eg Cosmolite 69cm for $399 after discount which is no different to buying it from Myer when they have their sales; hence I walked away empty handed. Btw the place was swamp with people when I was there.
Really disappointed in samsonite and wouldn’t buy again. The TSA combination lock seized after 4 lock/unlocks in one bag I bought (happened the day before I left but got a refund after my 5 week holiday) and after only 1 trip they look in worse condition than my 17 year old (10+ international trip) Tosca,
TSA locks are balls. If you're not going to the US they're useless anyhow. I just use a cheap $2 key lock padlock on my 72 hours. If customs want to cut it off, go for it.
TSA Locks are the worse inventions. You can download the keys and cut them using a 3D Printer…..
FYI…. I left there at 12pm & there were quite a few people there. RRP prices are as per Sampsonite website but after the discount they still appear to be cheaper than any other advertised price I could find online.
