Garmin Edge 520 GPS Cycling Computer $339 from CyclingDeal

30

Not a record breaking price, but seems decent.
Just received an email from Cycling Deal that says they've dropped $50 off the price. Static ice only
Happy to update if it can be bought locally for cheaper.

So $60 off is a deal and $50 isn't? These are both deals, just one is a tiny bit better.

    • Pick up only it seems.

      • Both say free shipping Auswide

    • Next 10% off ebay will mean it's sub-$300 at bikebug's ebay store.

  • great little unit

Expect the 520 to be discounted now that the Garmin Edge 520 Plus is available?

    • These guys trying to get in 1st before the mainstream catches on?

  • Its costs more than a cycle

Anybody interested in a Garmin Bike Computer has probably already spent an order of magnitude more than this on at least 1 bike (probably several). Anybody buying a $300 bike probably isnt out hunting Strava KOMs, calculating their FTP or watching their live Heart Rate and Cadence. I have mates that ride pretty old bikes when it is raining as training bikes so could be wrong but most of them have garmin mounts on each bike and just swap the computer to and from. To get this to work properly you also need a Heart Rate Strap, a Speed and Cadence Sensor and potentially, if you are keen, a Powermeter. my Powermeter alone cost several times what this Garmin costs.
