      unfortunately places like K-mart etc still sell it at $110, so in a way it is serious.

      On the otherhand if you were planning on buying it at $110, you probably deserve to be ripped off.

    Does anyone even play MW1 anymore? Crazy expensive still imo. Bad combat 2 has been as low as $13 on special.

        the steam sales last month, but they're over now.
        that said BC2 is so different to COD that you'd probably be a fan of one or the other

      The funny thing, when I play MW1, I join a game in less than 5 secs, whereas on MW2, it takes me 2-5 minutes.

      For some reason that game still holds its value. It tends to be more expensive than the sequel that was released a year later, Call of Duty World At War. I believe that has to do with a strong community of die hard online players.

    nice price, most copies on ebay sell for around $44, some with delivery (but only a noob would think they are saving saving $91.95 or pay full price for a call of duty game that wasnt a collectors edition or pre order. I got the hardened edition of mw2 from zavvi for around $33 aud, yet at best i think eb were selling the standard for $60

    i bought my modern warefare 2 harden edition a few months ago for about only 30bucks. this is NOT a bargain, it is a VERY old game (i mean modern warefare 1)!

      Not sure why the negative vote? Whether the game is decent or recent, the website is selling it at, and I quote from their website, a saving of $91.95, which to my understanding (and rather limited knowledge of games and gaming) sounds like an 'Ozbargain'.
