    put price in title?

everyones waiting for the extended edition.

  • +4

Don't even bother buying this. It's not worth it without the extra footage.

That's probably why it's so cheap.

    • +6

Thats not a reason to neg. That's your opinion. A reason to neg would be it's cheaper somewhere else like Kal. pointed out.

      • Well it seems like a few other people agree.

      • no extra footage = valid reason to neg imho

what if you dont have the trilogy already…… like me?

      • if you like the movies, it's worth waiting for the extended editions (like the rest of the world)

  • +3

    Cheaper on Amazon Uk…

  • Yeah; extended version for this one. Don't bother.

  • It's cheap but I'll be holding out for an extended one too.

  • +2

The forums are all bickering about extra footage blah blah blah.

Stop being a purist - this is indeed a bargain for $33.

    Thumbs up.

    • I agree, and I personally don't want the extra footage as it's too long…

Don't forget this forum is a place where cheap Dominos pizza and Krispy Kreme donuts are typically the most popular deals. Most on here are geeks… what do you expect??

this is indeed a bargain for $33.

but……it's not a bargain if you can get it cheaper elsewhere…..

      • -1

well andy, $11 for a blu ray x 3 is a bargain, This website isnt called ozbestprice…..still gonna wait for an extended version though lol

        • +2

not called ozbestprice, but that's what it is…..

Otherwise we would be filled with deals that are 'almost the best price'

  • I dont see why people bang on about the extended edition

Some people dont have 400 hrs to watch one show so the edited version is still a good show in its own right.

The die hards can wait for the extended editions but for what it is the price is good , but obviously the price is better at Amazon

  • extra footage aside, these releases have so much DNR applied its like watching wax, but+1 for cheap price because it still is cheap…

has ne one used cdwow before???????

    • +1

Yes. Slow delivery (something took 5 weeks once), terrible customer service (takes days to reply to emails and usually with something unhelpful).

Amazon UK is cheaper, faster, and has better customer service. Same goes for Zavvi. And The Hut.

Not even close to a bargain, and the only people who would think it is just didn't bother checking other prices.

  • Cheaper elsewhere

  • I love movies but I never watch the extended footage. This is the version I want and it was a great price so I posted it.
Also I've used CDWOW before and I've never used Amazon UK. CDWOW's items are from overseas but at least the website is setup for Australian buyers, unlike Amazon UK. Delivery is a little slow, but I've had items delivered within a week and a half.
If you head down to JB Hifi this trilogy would be about $70.

Amazon translate to AUD in the checkout section. As I mentioned earlier, they're cheaper, faster, and have better customer service.
