  • Item was discontinued and was put on clearance.
  • Initial online orders that were put in before they ran out of the stock in their warehouse will be fulfilled.
  • Orders after the stock ran out will not be fulfilled as they usually can put another order in from the manufacturer but as it's a discontinued, they can't get more stock.
  • People who put in an order early but chose click and collect will get it if the local store had stock. If no stock, you wont get nothing as the warehouse ran out of the stock fairly quickly with online orders and deliveries.

    • +1

How much did the brand cost?

    Didn't need, bought 1. Sigh… :(

  • Didn't buy…. NOT

  • Didn't need. Bought 1 anyway.

Almost bought one. Backed out last second. Now that's what I call willpower.

    • you know you want it gimme.. do it do it

    • Well done… wish I had had that much willpower…bought one 😭

    • +1

Kudos to you, this was one of the harder ones to resist..

    • I only managed because I already have a 1080p BenQ projector

  • Yer I have it in the cart, BUT I dont need one so I think I will just use the TV instead…

    • +2

That is not in the spirit of OzBargain.

      • +7

        Bought one lol :/

        • +3

We are OzBorg'n. Your impulsiveness and feeble willpower will be added to our own. Resistance is futile.

I didn't wake up this morning expecting to own a projector. Happy Thursday everyone!

'Dont count your projectors till your unwrapping it in your loungeroom' as the old saying goes

  • Have Xiaomi Short Throw, bought it anyway.

    • Is that the $2K integrated android one? I really want that. What's your experience with it been? Can the language be changed to English?

      • Let's just say..it's the best money I have ever spent. I have it sitting on my tv unit with fixed screen and I love it. Changed it to English but I also have like a MI BOX (international version) SO it's a sweet setup. I have my PC connected to is as well and I love oplaying PUBG on a 100" screen. haha

        • Oh wow.. ok I was tossing up between that or 75" HiSense N7.. So you don't need to be able to read Chinese then to get around it? Some of the early western reviewers on youtube mentioned difficulty tweaking settings because the language couldn't be changed. Must have been a firmware update since. Is it good in a bright room (have you ever used with lights on)?

        • @ccrap: I used it with lights on all the time. Also, the settings can be changed to English pretty easily. The thing is, once you are done setting it up, you wont be touching the settings for like months.

It does bother me tho that when it turns on it's like Chinese everywhere but there is a way to default it to a HDMI input. I just havn't had a chance to look that up.

Otherwise, it's an ace unit. Bought it used on Gumtree for like 1700 bucks from a dude who didn't know how to change it to English.

  • This let me do click and collect but its not until the 30th? :(

    • Free delivery. Just do it before it sells out

      • +1

Oh dont worry i did - buy first ask questions later :)

Have one 1080p projector at home, but bought it anyway for its price. Not sure why.

    • I'm struggling to not by this as well, have a perfectly good 1080p LED projector… but want this too

  • Its a throw down projector meaning it has to be wall mountable correct?

    • short throw, meaning you put it close to what youre projecting onto

    • You don't have to wall mount it. It is short throw not throw down mandatory.

    • Looking at the user manual, it comes with the wall mount.

  • +7

I have a feeling the price should have been $1,295.

    • agree with you there

    • Yep even at clearance… lol

    • Its clearance so it may be the real price. Ive seen OW clear out something worth $70 for $1. It was majorly overpriced iPhone covers but the point still stands.

    • -3

      Or even $2295

      • How dare you

    • SSShhshshhshhhhhhhhh! Don't let them know.

  • Already have a projector at home but hey, another one doesn't hurt.

I feel like Aragon from LOTR when he didn't accept the ring from Frodo because I resisted buying something I don't need, even though it's the BARGAIN OF THE CENTURY OMG WHAT HAVE I DONE?!

  • +1

    solid! purchased. cheers op.

    • just got confirmation email

  • Didn't need… Bought anyway.

  • +1

    Didn't Bought… need anyway.

    • this is why Starbursts are getting discontinued in our supermarkets.

  • +1

Just ordered as well. Quick web search shows $1500-2000. Seems to be genuine 1080p which I've never seen below $1000 in OW and I've been looking. So its a pricing error. I tried to see if I could go fetch one from my store but click & collect is 30th May too.

  • How would this go watching movies? Sooooo tempting

Office Works allows returns for change of mind right? So if it ends up crap for movies I could just return it?
