The BenQ MH856UST Ultra Short Throw Projector is ideal for use in classrooms, meeting rooms or other areas limited for space. It can provide a Full HD, 100 inch large projection from as little as 0.43 m away. Plus, with SmartEco technology, the projector will deliver reliable and vibrant images without using extra power.
The projector supports Full HD projections with a resolution of 1080p.
It delivers 3,500 lumens of brightness for ultra vibrant presentations.
You can connect to the projector via VGA, RCA, S-Video, USB and HDMI.
It has a high contrast ratio of 10,000:1.
It has a lamp life of up to 4,000 hours.
You can also add audio to your presentations using the 2 inbuilt 10 W speakers

Update:

  • Item was discontinued and was put on clearance.
  • Initial online orders that were put in before they ran out of the stock in their warehouse will be fulfilled.
  • Orders after the stock ran out will not be fulfilled as they usually can put another order in from the manufacturer but as it's a discontinued, they can't get more stock.
  • People who put in an order early but chose click and collect will get it if the local store had stock. If no stock, you wont get nothing as the warehouse ran out of the stock fairly quickly with online orders and deliveries.

    Anyone can help me? I’m thinking of getting one but only have a light green painted wall to work with, can I get a projector screen and somehow put it under the projector to use that as the screen??

      If your wall is light green,it might be OK as a screen until you "upgrade".

      If you keep your eyes out there are some decent pull down screens or tripod ones that come up on Gumtree/ Fleabay. The difference compared to a painted wall is worth the bit of coin - IMHO.

      You can attach big white cloth on wall and then project it. Just make sure there are no wrinkles on cloth.

    Ordered. Thx OP. Seriously hope it will be honoured. Need it for delivering training in a variety of settings as my current one (Epson) is on last legs. It looks ideal for the price. The preso's are static / simple so the rainbow effect complaint shouldn't affect my use.

    Glad that I got in before they were Broden-ed.

      The rainbow effect is visible regardless of what's being displayed. It's not motion in the image that makes it visible, it's your eye's motion across the screen (e.g. jumping from a graph to the text beside it) that makes it visible.

      It should be fine, their home cinema projectors are great quality and usually the only difference with the data/business PJs is the brightness and aspect ratio (16:9 vs 16:10 for the business PJ).

    I bought a big TV so I didn't need a projector. Now I bought a projector but the TV blocks the only wall to project to. Kinda hope it's not honored.

    I got a grey acer projection screen from officeworks years ago for $28. Was a huge clearance reduction. They had 2 at the time, kicking myself for not getting the second one too. Works great with my Epson EB-U32.
    Only crap part about this deal (if its honoured) is a decent screen will cost as much as the projector.

    For those looking to Buy. The Insurance.

    If you're considering the Extra Cover or Product Insurance, which I normally buy on more expensive items from Office Works (this being a $1,500 unit, which is up for a steal). The cover you would be paying for only covers you up to the value of the purchase price, being $295. So if things go wrong with your unit, the added insurance will not necessarily cover you for a new unit, as opposed to your original $295.

      you can write with your finger. Benefit of point writer is, you could set colour for each writer. So its like red pen, blue pen, black pen. With finger you will have to change colour manually from setting from right hand side of screen.
