Can be got from JB Hifi for $293 (pricematching the Qantas deal without the points) I picked up a pair this morning so it's legit.

Yep. It's the 2nd cheapest price it's been if my memory serves me right. (besides the 40% Sony headphones deal JB did a while back - can't see that happening again anytime soon)

Just headed to a JB Hifi store in Sydney, checked this invoice with their manager, unfortunately they can not do price match for this.
I'm not sure all stores will be willing to price match, 2000 points are worth $75 if you buy them from Qantas
Tried Queen Street and Albert Steet in Brisbane and either would match the $293
I called JbHiFi here in Craigieburn, VIC. They said they would not match Qantas deal irrespective of the fact that someone else within Jb has approved and made a sale!
I managed to get a price match for $352 though! Reckon it is a good deal?good deal would be if its under $300, since its happen twice before, jbhifi and sony kiosk

I've heard in order for the NC to work while you're sleeping, the headphones need to be connected to bluetooth or plugged in. Otherwise they will auto power off after 5 mins. Does anyone know if having them plugged into an airplane seat works? Even if it's not sending sound? Or does it need to be a digital device of some kind…
I managed to get a price match from Harvey Norman online chat for $350 for those who still looking.
The rep will say they don't price match with eBay but they will at the end.

I found sound quality of the 1000XM2 very disappointing. I had a pair of QC35 first gen before these. IMO QC35's SQ is much better (especially in regards to clarify).
Interesting, it seems everyone says these are the absolute best.
What is your audio source and connection?
After tried 3 JBhifis: Loganholmme, Browns Plains and Garden City. Only Garden City honoured the deal with Blottski receipt. I GOT THEIR LAST ONE WITH $293. Thank you so much Blottski
