Was looking for a cheap phone for my dad.
He mostly reads news and doens't like the Plus sizes.

    I've had this phone for a whole now. Absolutely fantastic. Meets my needs for two Sims, and basic browsing, texting and calling.

    I haven’t used eglobal. All I know is they are affiliated with DWI. Any comments, experiences? Ive read that eglobal is known for sending out some open, possibly demo items. I don’t know if this is true.

    I reckon the G5 plus or g5s plus are worth the extra for a 6 series CPU although screens are a bit bigger. My wife has the G5 plus. Excellent all rounder.

    does this one have NFC? googling suggests that xt1797 should and the us-variant does not but not certain about xt1794.

      i haven’t found anything that doesn’t run in 3 gb ram even with a few apps open.
      mobile apps are designed for small ram phones or their customer base would be limited.
      , heck you fire up windows 10 , excel and word in less than 4 gb ram and this is android and the apps aren’t as complex as word or excel.

      whole android 8 os and associated apps is only 1 gb download.

      raspberry pi doesn’t have 3 gb ram and runs a whole os and desktop gui multiple browser ecosystem….

    Just arrived today. Looked like a great phone… until I tried connecting to the home wifi network, which it cannot find…

    A quick search on google reveals this is an extremely common problem, with no fix :(

    I wish that I had done my homework on this!! Fingers crossed I can return it with no problems.
