20% off Sitewide: Shimano Stella SWB 4000XG $703.20, 20000PG $975.20 Free Delivery @ MoTackle

90

Motackle is having their 20% sitewide. I haven't gone through everything but the Shimano Stella SWB is a good buy.

All the sizes are currently the lowest price available.

Local warranty is valuable for this product.

Please be aware that there are strong hints or even confirmed statements that a new Stella SW is due in 2019.

CheapGit also found the following with good pricing.

Saltiga BJ 4000 - $703.20
Dogfight 8000 - $1039.20
Expedition 5500 - $959.20

  • no saltiga's are listed…

Digitaka is generally the place to go for if you are after the cheapest high end reels (stella, saltiga, exist etc)…. misses out on the 5/10 year local warranty is the only catch

        • stupid search didn't work properly

        • looks like they're not discounted

Just be careful of JDM items. They may have the same exact name but will differ on their SKU by an alphabet or two.

The flagships are consistent with their export counterparts but the mid range stuff is often down specced. This has been verified by Alan Hawk with photographic evidence and further verified on my travels.

      • The Daiwa items you listed above are fairly common price. You can get those prices from Rayannes at the moment.

Objective price comparison aside, the magseal reels use propeiotary ferrous fluid as one of the core components. The servicing cost and convenience is unjustifiable.

        • Saltiga BJ 4000 - Rayannes $849 Motackle $703.20
          Dogfight 8000 - Rayannes $1199 Motackle $1039.20
          Expedition 5500 - Rayannes $1099 Motackle $959.20

I'll just stick to my mid range reels, least i don't feel so bad when they get dropped on the rocks!
Plus i can service them quite easily myself :-)

        • @CheapGit:
Huh. Mine showed up on MT as the prices you list on Rayannes.

Servicing a Stella is quite easy actually. No special tools or lube. Washers are very widely available. OEM and third party spares are plentiful.

        • @tshow:

The Motackle site has been messing around with prices, the first time i listed the Saltiga links for Shole the prices weren't showing 20% discount.

  • who wants to go for a fish

    • Would love to but it's hunting season.

      • Lucky there have been so many in season specials lately on rifles, glocks, bows and laser dot sights. Still waiting though for a good price on a hunting blind…..

        • I've been all set in that department for a while now.

Could do with a crossbow to complete the arsenal.

    • Been a while since I've seen you around these parts. If I'm ever down Central Coast way I'll hit you up for an OzBargain style fishing day.
