  No IAP and no ads is good, but are the permissions overreaching?

  The BOM app seems more inline with expectations and the others listed aren't too bad.

  Check out the mi home app for an example of overreaching.

    I have a Redmi Note 4. After the last round of updates I went to use the inbuilt weather app and was confronted with a permissions popup - "Allow weather to make and manage phone calls?".

    I denied that because, well, WTF? - and now the app won't run.

    Crazy.
