In order to get the free game you need to create an account, download the gamesession client/software, download the game, and play the game for 5 minutes. Once you do that you will get a notification that the game is now permanently in your gamesession library and you can then play it whenever you want.

      It needs to be downloaded (4.9GB), and played and then activated online.

      I just claimed the game. It is not so much of a DRM system but it seems to be more of a download manager - definitely different to Steam, Origin, and uPlay.
      You download the installer file and it does the rest. Then you log in with your credentials, and you play the game.
      Fairly simple. And not too much effort for a free game.
      Game is best played with a controller though - I tried it with keyboard and mouse and that only works with the heavier vehicles and on a racetrack for me. But maybe I simply suck at the game. ;-)

    How do i download the gamesession client/software i got the games installer but just says wrong path when i click on it,any help would be appreciated as im very new to pc.

      It should be fairly simple. For me, I just go to the page, click download and then it does it.
      Maybe try a different browser. And try login ion first and then going to the free download page.
      So far I have never had an issue with it.
      I hope you manage to get it to work.
