3 Kitchen Helpers in One. Scale, Timer, and Thermometer

Some recipes require an accurate measure of time, temperature, and weight. But how do you make space for all three?

This-3-in-1 device solves an array of kitchen challenges with precision. As a scale, it measures weight in 1 gram increments up to 5 kilograms. It also has a tare/zero feature to reset the scale to zero to make adding extra ingredients to a recipe or bowl easy and precise.

The LCD timer helps time various kitchen tasks. The built-in temperature probe can be inserted into liquids and solids to measure up to 150°C and the scale also displays the ambient temperature. All measurements can be read in both metric and imperial for international recipe conversion.

It's like having a sous chef.

temperature probe ….might be more convenient to buy a seperate thermometer from ebay , not very practical to have scale near cook top or bbq if you want to measure temp ….. scale and timer is handy though, but that makes it an expensive set of scales and timer, and trickey if you need the scales at a different place then the timer eg prepping indoor and cooking outdoor.

    • What's a better scale for cheaper if you don't need a thermometer?

You can use the thermometer for when you get sick. Just undress your bottom half and sit on it to check your vital arse stats for when you get the flu.

Don't be stupid, you don't have to sit on it, it has a probe. You too can relive your days being captured by Aliens.

I’ve owned one for a couple of years now. Great scales. Don’t use thermometer much, but handy to have. Fantastic for this price!

    • Same.

We received it free with a purchase from Bing Lee and we use it often. Works well.

  • I was thinking wow 3 devices in one how convenient. Bought it. Read some more comments, realised its probably more convenient to have 3 seperate devices for these things.

Scale is accurate though. Better than my $5 kmart one.

    • How do you know which is accurate and which is not? Unless the kmart is analog?

      • Weigh some coins to see if they are accurate.

  • Accuracy:
    1 gram

  • I have had this for a few years, use it all the time. Would recommend. I never use the thermometer though.

  • Are these scales really that accurate? According to Choice , this is how it tested

10g increments performance test score 80%
    1kg performance test score 98%
    Maximum weight performance test 96%
    Tare performance score 80%

*Performance tests: Our testers check the electronic kitchen scales for 10g increment accuracy, 1kg weight accuracy, maximum capacity accuracy and the tare function (reset to zero). Each test includes three runs, the score is based on the maximum increment. With the smaller calibrated weights, we ensure that they're handled with tweezers and soft gloves so oils from fingers don't affect the accuracy of the result.

I suppose for kitchen use, the accuracy is quite sufficient, but for other uses where maximum accuracy is required it's probably best to look elsewhere. In saying that, choice did rank this scale as 5th on the recommended list, but the other better ranked models scored 100% and 99% accuracy

What sort of price range were those in? What brands?

What were the better ranked models?

    • What's the highest?

  • How loud is the timer alarm?

  • This is good for coffee snobs (except maybe the 1gram increments). You can weigh your beans/grinds, time your shot and measure the temp of your milk

    • No, temp of water and weight of water too.

      • +1

True, its good for pour overs too

  • I own this product. I have only used the scales, but a great product. Would recommend
