Has anyone purchased and redeemed the limited edition content on PS4/Xbox recently?
The comments on amazon in relation to the PS4 Limited Edition (not Limited Plus Edition) seem to indicate that the download codes have an expiry date, and they have expired:

Potentially this is only the case for the USA release…anyone purchased the Limited Plus Edition recently and can confirm?

This was a concern for me last time this deal was posted and nobody had a response then. I bought definitive and 2(standard) for $8 each secondhand instead to have physical copies. All the local BIGW stores didn't have definitive in stock for that $7 deal, but now there's a couple in stock for $10.
Both games are well worth playing - definitive edition is a must so you can play as Daud in Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches which are fun inclusions with a few full size missions each, significantly extending the gameplay.
Dishonored 2 DLC/preorder content is just in game money/show off item and doesn't affect gameplay - buy whatever edition is most cost effective.
If someone finds stock at their local have an in depth read of all the fine print on the box. If it doesn't say anything on the box about expiry and it is expired you might be able to get a refund.

Yeah, I actually have Dishonored on Steam already, but don't have the DLC (and don't have a proper PC), so considering grabbing the definitive edition on Xbox to play it on there. This deal would have been perfect, if the download code worked - and if there was local stock to save shipping (shipping ruins the deal).
May have to just buy them separate!
The PS4 version (at least) had an expiry sometime in 2017 printed on the back of the card. That said, I don't have a PS4 to test it.
Brought XB1 Limited Edtion <1wk ago and can confirm all codes still work. Not sure for PS4.

I already had one in my cart in a separate window.. so I just bought it. I was wondering if the Limited Edition of Dishonored II…. is like the same as the Definitive Edition of Dishonored I? I mean… should I have even bought this??!? I just bought it because I saw you couldn't anymore.. and was like… AAaaahh buy it!
Dishonored 2 in game limited edition is very minor difference. 500 coins, novelty guitar, extra lore book, extra 2 bone charms. The only real draw of this edition is the included dishonored1 definitive and the bonus physical things (book, map, steelbook etc). If you can actually redeem the dishonored1 definitive digital copy this is a great price.
"If you can actually redeem Dishonored 1"???? I didn't know there was any "if"…. I just thought that would 100% still be available… If not I'm just totally returning it. I thought questionable was the little extra items (charms) and coins etc. Especially since people are saying you can buy used for $8… (although, I would have to look at what I could actually get it for)

Read my comment above, and response by silverrat23. The download codes, including Dishonored Definitive Edition, may indeed be expired (at least on the PS4 version, and not fully confirmed by anyone yet that it doesnt work).
If I was you, I would test it out, because it's a great deal if you get both! And if it doesn't work, take it back to EBGames for a full refund! (Given they haven't advertised the expiry date online, a full refund should be a no brainer)

@caprimulgus: Yeah I thought the download code was for little DLC things… I didn't think the extra game was part of that. I thought it was a definite. Damn.. Will totally refund if can't get the free game. I mean that's what they advertise. Do they refund shipping? Prob not… damn.
Ordered 1 for ps4 2 weeks ago and my package arrived but was missing the game disc and DLCs so they are on their way now and hopefully I'll get it by the end of the week. Got it for the steelbook and cloth map.

i bought this PS4 Limited Plus Edition last october from EB and it didnt come with a digital D1 code, the game was unsealed as well. got home and rang the store and they told me they "took them out as they had expired". i then called another local store, explained my situation and they had a spare code for D1 with the expiry of 1/5/17, 5months past expiry BUT it redeemed perfectly.
PS4 Update: I received my game yesterday which was extremely fast. Came from Cairns to Sydney in 1 day. I mean I bought it 12:30 on Tues and it arrived on Weds. Crazy. So D1 code says expiry 1/5/17 as above. Tried it and worked like a charm. Over a year past expiry! The DLC has expiry 11/11/18.. which also worked (as not expired!). All good!

As in-store stock is limited, shipping costs (~$10) should be included in the title.
