Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Replacement Battery Help

Hi guys, wondering if anybody has recently purchased any decent replacement battery for the samsung galaxy note 4. I purchased one off ebay which advertised as including NFC antenna, but that turned out to be false.

Looking for some a source of a replacement battery, oem batteries are acceptable as long as the rated capacity is decent and nfc antenna exist.

  • Is it really worth replacing the battery at this stage?

I decided to replaced my note 4 recently (new phone arriving soon), and was sorta in the same position as you. I checked the resale price, and saw that the phone goes for about 140-180. Genuine battery from a reputable retailer will set you back $30-40. Didn't want to risk buying non-OEM, because last time I did it the battery swelled up and it freaked me out. Lot's of ebayer's claim that they have genuine battery, but most of them aren't from what i saw on whirlpool.

I had other problems with it though, GPS constantly drops out randomly (apparently a common issue with the note 4). Seriously annoying when you're driving

  • Hi thanks for some of the comments. Besides the obvious samsung store of course :) but still thanks.

Problem with the batteries is that with google, I have seen people paying a premium price even from mobilecity and obtained a fake battery. I'm in fact currently communicating with the seller on ebay i purchased from that the battery i received was a fake as it doesn't have an NFC antenna, even though it was advertised as an original product.

@Butt_Scratcher I do feel it is worth replacing the battery in my phone. And when i looked, people were still selling the phone for around $300. I like my phone and it still works very well and meets all my demands, besides the fingerprint sensor being dead and a lethargic battery. Luckily for me, i have never had any gps issue with my note 4. Plus it reduces the amount of electronic waste.
