    $80 at Dan Murphy's

    Pretty good deal!

    • +2

$76.99 actually, but yeah, near enough. I totally do not know this because this is what I paid last night.

      • Showing as $79.99 for me

So at least it could’ve been worse!

  • Great price

  • +8

Real Asahi! Great price for Made in Japan… Not the Chinese-brewed rubbish (all stubbies)

    • +3

I agree, this can taste better.

    • +2

Anyone else find the Chinese one tastes metallic?

      • It is just not as intense and not as refreshing.

    • +4

That would be an incorrect statement sir…

      Asahi Superdry Bottles - China
Asahi Superdry Cans 500ml/350ml - Japan
      Asahi Black Bottles - Japan
      Asahi Soukai bottles - Melbourne

All Asahi draught products are imported from Japan also.

Please dont make broad sweeping statements without the right info.

      P.s I work for Asahi :P

      • In terms of Super Dry, the statement is correct. Sorry I didn't clarify.

  • i just see 57.99 with $7 delivery

might want to explain how you got 54.99

    • +1

      54.99 on my browser.

    • +3

NSW, SA, NT + 10c per can for Return and Earn scheme/scam and the rest is retailer markup

      • ^ This. If you're in any of those states, it'll cost more thanks to the return and earn. If you log in, you're likely telling the site that you aren't in the markup state

    • Mine also came up as $57.99, but when I logged in it came up as $54.99

      But $11.99 delivery :/

    • Set location to QLD and then price match in store hah

    • State fluctuations.

But you are quite right… I thought FEDERATION would stop this crap.

  • +4

    Delicious.

    I know username checks out.

got a few from Dan's super deal. I found the cans taste ok but not as good as I used to enjoy.
My go to beers are Cooper Sparkling Ale or Extra Stout and Grand Ridge varieties.

    • -1

      Coops Pale FTW

    • +3

If you are into those beers you aren't gonna like asahi!

    • +1

Cooper Sparkling Ale - I'm drooling now

  • I drink these all the time, even without this deal I find them great value for money.

  • Asahi is ok but you can get German brewed beer for $10 a 6 pack at dans in the stubby

    • But it is not Asahi 😃. I drank my first ever Asahi a few days ago and I was on the hunt for a bargain since.

      • Wait until you go to Japan and try yebisu black. Amazing

        • My favourite Japanese beer is the Asahi Shunrei Karakuchi, don't think you can get it outside of Japan, but I love it!

        • +1

I love regular Yebisu. Sadly, while I can get it here, it's absurdly expensive :(

    • +4

German brewed beer doesn't mean good

      • Don't the regulations make them pretty similar?

        • No, there is definitely a huge variation in quality between beers.

      • This is so true. We get some pretty cheap German brewed beers here.

  • +2

Thank you for the deal OP. I can't forget my first ever taste of asahi. Bought one from the vending machine after an onsen experience in Osaka. It was the best ever.

  • you can only buy max of 10

    • +1

      10 Carton = 240 cans.

      • still not enough…

        • Your liver is crying out for help.

        • @Bargain Zombies: You will die no matter what so just live what you want

    • Just know DM only price match that store within 10km,was going to buy 20 cases

    • omfg that shit is naaaaasty hehe
the 500ml cans of ~9% whiskey highballs are good though.

    • Don't forgot the 9% cans of Highball!

  • Sweet just finished the couple of cartons I got from the Dan Murphy's deal the other month. Great beer.

  • mix some sake with the beer it's smashing

  • +2

    • Ok Spoke to Dan online & agreed to beat the price, $53.99 with collect from nearest Dan store.. Thanks OP

      • Do u have prove of purchase I could show them

      • How did you price match online?

  • In Japan at the moment, had to grab this for when I get back. The Chinese bottles are awful.

    • Are they similar price in Japan.

      • More expensive, got two slabs hahaha

  • Bew in Japan?

  • Thanks OP
    3 cartons ordered.

    • -4

That is a respectable amount. I by and large have stopped drinking beer due to it being too expensive, contains hops that acts as an estrogen which causes cancer and has no health benefit's. I add Merlot/CabSav/Shiraz to sparkling spring water, it is much cheaper, just as refreshing and the red wine is the only type of alcoholic drink that studies show to be beneficial to health.

      • You can die from drinking water. Its called water intoxication. Just drink the wine by itself just to be safe.
It will also save you money and be better for the enviornment so win win.

    • I have ordered 4 cartons thinking this price don't come often.

  • Expiry date? 24 cans are too many for myself, Im only a occasionally drinker but enjoy the Jap version Asahi. Dont mind to half with someone near Chatswood NSW, lol PM me if interested.

    • +1

Just price match it at your local Dans or Liquor Choice. Expiry date is Nov 2018 for those in Liquors Choice.

  • Great deal if you can get it at that price. For me I have to add $18 for shipping kinda making it not so fantastic anymore :(

    • Time to head over to Pellet Town and see what the professor can conjure up?

      • Pallet Town ;)

  • -3

I think Hahn Super Dry is better and is Australian made.

    • Not sure the relevance of ‘Australian made’ in this context? I’m sure some caesium from the recent Fukushima incident will add some zing to your daily consumption?

      • -1

They are both Super Dry beers, they taste nearly the same.

    • No way mate hahahaha, your deaming

  • +2

Successfully price matched with first choice liqueor ( related to vintage cellars ) in store as well

    • Can u link you're receipt?

  • Just price match DM Fawkner. In fact, I am drinking it now.

  • Price matched at First Choice in WA - no problems.

  • None at First Choice Bentley or Dan Murphy's Canno.

    • Don't waste your time. Order online and get it deliver for a small fee. Worth it if you ordered a few cartons.

      • Just put in an order and standard delivery appears to be free. Not sure why…

  • Comes up at $76.99 for me in SA

  • looks like price is back to normal after restocking… so annoying. I was going to pick up today
