Just bought a Xbox One with the recent amazon sale.
It comes with 1 month of Xbox live and game pass. However if I purchased this deal: 1 month of game pass/Xbox live for $1 do you think the free 1 month from the console will be redeemable 1 month later with the existing account? Not sure if it’s meant to be for “ new accounts”
Actually this one is a bit tricky, from my last chat with the Microsoft staff Xbox live cards 14 days and below are considered trial and anything above it is a full live card (eg. 14 days doesn't get you Xbox 360 free games, but 1 month will get you those games).
Now if you can combine the $1 month with a free 1 month, i would contact chat and ask them. The answer might be to register for 1 month with $1 then use the card…
But also keep in mind when you signup the first time for 1 month or more it asks you whether you want it to auto renew and if you say yes it's gives you a free extra month… Then you can cancel the renewal. That happened with my 3 month card (i got 4 months in total)
I am in precisely the same boat. I plan to do the $1 deal just before it expires, let it run out and expire, then do whatever codes come with the bundle… hoping that the bundle includes a code.
I did the $1 deal for game pass/Xbox live. I’ve got my bundle now. It came with 1 moth game pass and 14 day trial of Xbox live. Assuming the live is a miss but still hoping I can claim the 1 month of game pass
Any '1 month' bonus is for new accounts. You can't combine both
