I like good deals for shoes.

I'm personally not a fan of the sole of the shoe sticking out the back so much. I think they look funny.

    Great offer though. Good discount.

    • +1

Unavoidable. The boost is very squishy so it sticks out all around, more so at the back. This maintains the integrity of the sole, otherwise it would collapse under pressure and you'd roll your ankle.

      • Avoidable or not, it still looks silly & makes the shoe look like a mini hovercraft.

        • I like it.

I guess you won't like NMDs

  • Can combine with 7% cashrewards? Or get another $10 item and get the 7% cashreward without shipping coupon

    • Not sure, I enabled CR but it didn't appear to register. I have had them take a while to come through though. If it doesn't I'll raise a ticket with CR, they are pretty good when it comes to missing claims.

Ordered myself a pair of the Pure Boosts in Red, very comfortable shoes despite not having an insole.

    • Cash Rewards just tracked my sale. Can't complain with 50% some shoes I'd been eyeing for months plus an extra 7% cash back.
As expected it wont stack with 10% from previous purchases though.

I’d be cautious, Adidas sizing is all over the shop.

    • these run large.

go tts for casual fit or 1/2 size down if you want a snug sock like.

      I went tts.

      • I wouldn't half down on these. The knit is not that stretchy.

        • I think everyone is different, half size down was perfect for me. It definitely felt more snug but the length was perfect. TTS the length was a bit too long for me =(

        • I could do 1/2size down - but wouldn't be able to wear socks if I wanted/needed to.

          tts was comfy.
          :)

wasn't planning on using these as my everyday runner

    • Sneakers, I'm 11.5, I can go TTS or .5 up. Never had an issue with runners, trainers or tennis shoe. Never tried Adidas football boots.
I have 2 pair of ATR Pureboosts, one 11.5 the other 12. Both fit well and are super comfortable.

Clothing, yeah, it's a bit all over. I usually shoe shop online and do clothing in store.

    • US size or AU size?

      • Sizing is in US

  • what's the difference btw these and ultraboost?

never try the pure boost before, and soles look similar to the ultra

    • If you are planning on get these, I'd recommended at least the Pureboost DPR which only cost a little bit more but comes with an insole (non-DRPs have no insole), a traditional tongue (compared to a double-folded tongue), traditional laces (more secure fit) and also has a wider outsole for better traction.

The Ultraboost overall has more padding, suppose to be designed for longer runs and uses Primeknit upper (more lightweight, breathable, stretchy, and durable).

      • +1

thank you, Dimma. i'll look at the DPRs.

how about the comfort? i use more mid-to-front foot when running

        • comfort should be good, as djlee mentioned below, probably wouldn't recommend them if you have wide or flat feet. Best to try a pair if you get the chance, but these have a lot of cushion.

        • Check your local store to try a DPR, I wanted to like it but I really couldn't because the tongue was super thin and flimsy and kept folding on itself or going to 1 side of the shoe (you'll understand when you try it out) So I didn't get one because of this reason. If you are okay with it then it's fine, just a heads up.

    • Ultraboost are more comfortable in my and I think most people's opinions. The ultraboost has more boost in the mid and forefoot.

I wouldn't recommend the pureboost dpr if you have wide or flat feet. The outsole is narrower on the dpr version of the pureboost.

i know it's no match for ultra, but these are half-price or less. can't fight the bargain spirit.

  • The colours seemes to be at differerent prices.

  • +1

i like the triple blacks. still $90 is a good price for pureboosts.

    • Triple black, or anything with black boost. Much easier to keep clean. Hard to find on sale though…

  • Anyone have these and othortics? I'd be keen on these but lose foot volume with orthotics and wondering, should i size up?

    • +1

I don't have orthotics but I have 3 pairs of pureboosts, one of them is the reigning champ version which came with an insole and I had to take it out because otherwise it was way too tight. Personally I don't think these are meant to be worn with insoles. So I would say definitely size up if you're using orthotics.

    • +1

Yeah, you'd need to size up if you plan to use foot beds as most Pureboosts are designed to be worn without an insole. Depending on the type of orthotic, you may find them too soft with an extra layer of padding and not stable enough. My partner found this with her orthotics with Pureboosts, so went with Ultraboost and Supernovas.
