Randomly walked into Bunnings to find most Philips Hue products on shelf seriously discounted. Example of this Bridge is $64.95, well down from the usual $89 or so

Spoke to a team member who checked - all Hue stock is marked 'Restricted' so will not be re ordered.

Still have plenty of colour bulbs left for $57 or so - seriously cheap.

No stock of motion sensor left anywhere.

Remember you have to have a Hub for Hue to work - but good news is the Ikea smart lights arrive in October and are 100% compatible with the Hue hub so you can do your whole house cheap.

Totally recommend Hue - it's the gold standard for smart lights - works with Alexa and Google Home etc etc

And thats to all your bargain posts - have bought so much stuff I needed - and did not need - over the years

  Be careful with Bunnings' stock of colour Hue bulbs. Visited a few days ago and their colour bulbs are gen 2 - not the "richer colors" gen 3/gen 4 versions.

    They removed all the bulbs from the boxes. You will need to take them to the tools shop to get the bulbs. For those who do not know the difference may get the gen 2 instead of gen 3 bulbs.

      The empty boxes on shelves are generally not the boxes they actually sell, they're like demo boxes. When I was there on the weekend, the boxes with stock in the tool shop were gen 2.

        Really? There were heaps of empty gen 3 boxes on the shelves. It’s like false advertising?
