  • Line this up with a house sit you can have a very cheap comfy holiday. I'm on one now in France - 3 weeks in a very nicely renovated house, free use of a car. All I have to do is feed 3 cats and a couple of chooks and water the garden a bit.

    • Out of curiosity, what happens if you don't? Like if you accidentally on purpose to feed the chicken.

      • I presume you meant to say “what happens if you don’t (look after the pets) - forgot to feed the chickens?”

Well, the site I got this house sit on (this is the first one I’ve done) works on a feedback basis, so if you want more sits in the future you have to be a good sitter. Keeps the pets happy and alive, not steal the furniture and keep it tidy. It’s a real pleasure to have all the comforts of home (in fact more than my own home) including a nice pet to pat, including internet and Netflix, as well as the car, in a beautiful house.

The owners had the last person prang the car (just a little one) and get a speeding fine (they paid it I think). They’re mad I reckon, but they want their pets looked after.
