I received an email from a charity group telling me about a deal the Entertainment Book has going at the moment.
The offer is 2 x free cinema passes when I purchase the Entertainment book.

Exact wording was "If you enter the promo code 'EVENTGIFT’ at the check out you get 2x BONUS EVENT Cinemas Saver eTickets while stocks last"

I believe it's valid for Event Cinemas and Village Cinemas.

The code can be used no matter what charity / fundraising group you buy through.

    If you want the physical book without delivery fees, you might need to find a group in your area that are selling them. There's a wiki with a list (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/entertainment_book_fundrai…) so you might find one there - if not, contact schools/kindies in your area.

    Otherwise, the digital option is cheaper. I prefer it as you don't have to remember to take the vouchers with you and you can share it with other family members.

    To avoid delivery fee choose pick up. I chose a charity in a location which is convenient for me to pick up.

  Can anyone tell me, if I purchase another book for another city under the existing members discount, is it automatically registered to my account, or can it be activated with a new account like normal? Would like to buy one for someone moving there.

  (Asked this on another post, but since this one has more subscribers might get more eyes on it…)

  EDIT: Actually, not to worry. Continued through checkout to see what happens, and at payment stage asks whether it's for me and to activate against my email or let someone else activate it later..
