FYI Looks like most 'merino' are wool 60% / acrylic 40% blend.

    • yep did mention they are not 100% wool in the post description (not title)
personally I would buy 100% wool if I could afford it
eg CT has some at $59 upwards

Shame they went and did that. They used to be 100% merino, I paid $27 each at the time too.

yes recently bought merino jumpers from CT
was almost kicking myself when I saw these were for $30
then saw 40% acrylic and was happy

Funny that though, with all the sheep in NZ, you would have thought there wouldn't be a shortage of wool

        • lol was waiting for the sheep joke to come out

        • @JepunK:

Took a while for someone to spot

Honestly though one would have thought for a brand based in NZ 100% wool shouldn't be a problem

  • Being not really into clothes/fashion - is this good quality clothing or?

    • tried their chinos with their last deal 3 for $99
      a nice glossy finish
the only other chinos I've tried are bedfords which are available at target for $30

Hallensteins are better; good value for $30
I would not pay full price for them

    • The merino jumpers are really thin, so much of a problem here in Perth where I used it as a layer under a leather jacket, but for somewhere like Melbourne I would want something thicker. Also I have the older merino jumpers that were 100% wool. I wouldn't buy this 60% wool/40% acrylic. If it was 40% cotton or something I wouldn't mind so much, but not interested in acrylic at all!

  • How do the Chinos compare to the Ben Sherman ones, I picked up the wrong size and missed out last time

    • would like to know to
although these retail for $70 and are $30
Ben Shermans retail for $120 and on sale for $60

I would expect Ben Shermans to be better

  • Bring back the 100% merino! @hallensteins rep
