Don’t browse the categories. Too many items. Use the search function with a keyword, then filter down with categories, eBay plus, and price range.

That may well be - on the plus side (no pun intended), it wouldn't surprise me if the 15% discounts become a lot more common for plus members, as a sort of loyalty discount, 15% without a selected-seller restriction are pretty rare otherwise.
I can't even sign up for Plus. I get the message "Sorry, this program is currently only available for users registered on eBay.com.au and whose billing currency is Australian Dollar."

Just add some items to cart and wondering how the discount is not right, then realise some of those items are not eBay Plus even it's same seller. Weird. I took those non plus item off cart and now I become not eligible to the coupon due to less than $50.

Of all the days in the year, I was thinking of upgrading my PC today… jumped on Ozbargain, and low and behold — an epic discount on eBay that literally ends today!

OK, with the new launch of ebay Plus, what I'm seeing is a bunch of sellers who normally don't charge shipping now charge $19.95 to ship a microSD card. This is not a good change. It seems like they're adding shipping costs to justify the existence of Plus subscriptions.
