  Best deal is the Age home delivered on weekends and pickup at uni for $30 for students and $55 for staff. Home delivery is for 52 weeks as well

  Also $20 for the Herald Sun with the same conditions

    This is a national deal. Plus the Australian is less local which is good.

    The Age does I think, I remember it being offered last year in Y12. Sorry I don't know about The Australian though :o

      Thanks for that! I do that regularly for The Age (they offer the same deal to teachers as students.) I've just got less and less impressed with the paper lately and was hoping to try the Australian.

        I was soured by the SMH as far back as high school, the Australian seems a mix of very good with mediocre journalism. I still find it much better than SMH/Age.

  I read this online, but I used to get it delivered when I was in uni.
  It's a great price, but remember to recycle or reuse it.

    I think you might be referring to when the Australian was $20 bucks and threw in the sunday paper for free. Fairfax who owns age/smh pretty much has always been $30.

      err last year it was $25 for renewals & that price for all in the previous 2yrs. this year(late last year) it bumped to $30, but included week day delivery over summer.

      Now if they'd give a discount on the ipad app…..

  The Age: my son is in his VCE year …. he could pick up the schoolday issues for $15 for the year. Will he? No! :)

  So I'll go for that excellent $49pa offer, Thu-Sun, delivered.

  After 3-4 months of non-delivery I was offered a refund. It was 20$ then.
