Buying Perfume from Stores in Sydney with a Large Range

Hi guys,

Where can I find a nice store with a big variety of perfume? Or where do you guys buy any; all online?
I struggle to find any stores.

Thanks.

Your department stores like DJs and Myer are a good place to start off in.

There's also Priceline and Chemist Warehouse which are cheaper (as their stock is more aged) but since you asked for a nice store, department stores are nicer and sometimes have gift with purchases e.g. buy 100ml of Polo and get a duffle bag

    • Didn't know Myers sell any, thanks.

        Didn't know Myers sell any.

What? Where have you been all these years? haha

        • Just a few months here.

    • Do you know the most accurate way to check the manufacturing date of perfume?

      I use - checkcosmetic.net/ or http://www.checkfresh.com/ - but i don't know if this is accurate or not.
these websites uses the batch number which on bottle (not box) which does not help in most cases prior to buying as boxes are sealed.

Usually the batch number should be printed on the box, which will allow you to check on the cosmetic date checker websites. It might be under the folds of cellophane, embossed, or pretty dark; I'm looking at my bottle of Tom Ford Oud Fleur and the batch date is printed on the bottom of the box, but because it's black on charcoal, very hard to make out.

        I use http://m.checkcosmetic.net as well

    • How about FragranceX.com if the price difference is huge?

  • Tried takeit2day.com in India last time as by all reports, they are legit. Wasn't happy with boxes though, banged in corners. Fortunately it was for me, not a gift. Also a medallion inside attached to one of the bottles had broken off, making me fear the worst when shaking the box before opening. Prices and shipping were fine though. Not sure I'd buy again there.

    • Ever tried FragranceX.com?

  • Hi Girls?*

    • Guys refers to girls as well:)

      Thank you.

  • There's a store in parramatta that i used to drop by once in a while called perfume forever in parramatta westfield. It's got a pretty nice range including the more niche ones that cost $500+ to the cheaper stuff at <$10. Of course, you will be paying retail price, which is why i usually just go the to test the fragrance and buy online.

I dint know if they do it anymore (i havent shopped there in ages), but they used to sell testers at a discounted price too
