Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 over Ear Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones $398 (in Store or Delivered) @ Addicted to Audio

60

Current next cheapest price I was able to find was $488 from Wireless1. I know they were $347 during Boxing Day sales so it's not the cheapest it's ever been, but with all the Beats sales around, I thought I'd just let people thinking about getting wireless noise cancelling headphones know that these are a legit option and they blow the Beats Studio 3's out of the water for audio and build quality.

Having owned both, there's no noise cancelling hissing with these, and they have a much better feel to them - Much more comfortable. Having said that, please do go to a store and give these a try and see how you feel. It may be that you prefer a different sound profile.

These have a 2 Year Warranty, multiple carry case options (soft bag + larger zip up bag with leather detailing).

  • Got the wired version for $207, still unopened, why did I buy it?

  • Always on noise cancelling on these.

  • The noise cancelling is okay for these but i can still hear stuff in my surroundings like cars driving past or trains. Maybe it's because I wear glasses so the frames get in the way of the over-ear cups

I still recommend them they are comfortable and last a very very long time. I charge it once a week-2 weeks and I use them daily to and from work which are 1hr trips each way

  • If I'm looking at claiming back GST, would I need to bring the box, packaging etc?

    • I don't believe you do - that said, the line at the Sydney international airport for GST claimback is horrific. I just flew out on Friday night and it was out the corner. So give yourself plenty of extra time if you want to go down that path :)

  • This one had an Amazon flash sale a few days ago from US299 to US199 and might come up again on Prime day sales:

Anyone have any experience with Panasonic ANC?

    • Answering myself here in case anyone searches in the future: Got the Panasonic headphones but returned them. The ANC was weaker than the TaoTronic set I got for 1/3 of the price, though the Panasonic set was more comfortable and had significantly better sound quality.
