I'm pretty sure they are fake copy, they are made by Chinese factories, but stated 'made in Germany or Ireland'. I know some Chinese web sites are selling those things at around $2/pack and free shipping. do u want the link?

On eBay, this seller is selling the genuine oral b product

      • "your" seller says:
"We are proud to be eBay Australia's largest and most trusted personal care outlet. With all items selling for up to 65% below RRP and we are the cheapest around or we'll beat it!"

I wonder if they can beat the other ebayer's price! :)

  • ya I don't remember paying this much for replacement heads. The toothbrush cost me 43 bucks.

the price is for a total of 8 heads(but still expensive if you see the prices on ebay)

That's because a lot of eBay replacement heads are counterfeit. It has been well documented. If a seller, no ABN, no business name, etc is selling heads at $2 a pop, then watch out. I have never used counterfeit heads so I have no idea of their quality. For all I know they come from the same factory, but out the back door.

in that case, they are stolen goods, not counterfeit.

Likely the same product, the difference is only 1 person is probably making profit off of them instead of 6-7(+tax).

        • I have bought Oral-B heads before from a swapmeet where the person sells them every week. I found that every one of them broke a little piece of plastic behind the head that keeps the head in place. After that they just don't vibrate properly. I assume they were counterfeit so now I just wait for specials at chemists etc and stock up on originals. I don't think ebay conterfeits would be the same product or of the same quality as the originals.
