There is a market still for high end audiophile produxts. Rare, but it does exist.
This sound deadening is very good, I have used it many times in installs and the foam does add better deadening.
However don't be fooled by the softness of the foam, it is still razor sharp like the others (dynamat, stinger, etc.) and will cut your fingers/hands so be careful when applying it.
There is a layer of aluminium between the butyl rubber and the foam.
This can be sharp when cut, do take care!
I got a new sub for my car and the vibration is doing my head in.
Will this be enough to cover the whole car (doors and boot, car is a camry hybrid) and also will it have a noticeable improvement on sound quality
Why not just remove the sub?

I used about 3/4 of a XXXL kit and did the front doors of my forester (inner and outer skins) so you would probably need 2 kits to do a full car (doors and boot), even more if you wanted to do floors and roof.
