Heat Beads 7.5kg BBQ Briquettes $8.88 (Normally $11.25) @ Bunnings Nationwide

430

Heat Beads briquettes reduced (normally $11.25 or $1.50kg) due to Woolworths promotion. Works out 0.4c cheaper ($1.184kg) and in a bulkier pack. Plus an extra day earlier, most likely ends following Tuesday. So if your woolies sell out, I'd pop into your local Bunnings to stock up this week.

Happy BBQing!

Also 5% saving using discounted gift cards.

    • Thanks for the update? They're darer at woolies, even with 50% off.

  • are these fast burning?

e.g. do they have chemicals (lighter fluid etc) in them?

    • These are the regular ones

    • I prefer Bunnings hotshots 10kg ones. Larger and holds flame/heat for longer

      • I find heat beads work better than hotshots, and for longer.

    • +1

Not really fast burning. I use them for 12h low&slow smokes.

They have binding chemicals that burn clean. I don't think you'll find any briquette with no chemicals.

Tomorrow this will be listed for 4.75 aud in Woolworths.it's in their catalogue.

My apologies I meant the 4kg bags will be listep.

I'm between jobs so have too much time on my hands right now (and Mathnerd is overseas).

        $1.184 per Kg from Bunnings
        $1.187 per Kg from WW
$1.128 per Kg from WW (using GC)

    • And sweet cashrewards, and wish cards..

  • Woolies deal is better just for the smaller bags.

    • +1

Yeah the smaller bags are more practical - but this is less likely to sell out so if you miss the small bags you can get these and a snag.

      • +1 for a sizzle. Doing your bit for charity too. I use 2x 4kg bags per sunday BBQ. So 7.5kg works best for me.
