Wireless earphones for sports/running

Does anyone know of a decent sounding (not an audiophile) pair of wireless earphones/earbuds that won't fall out of my ears when running or playing basketball? Preferably under $50 but am willing to go for something a bit pricier

I saw a pair called Axgio Dash but there's no other threads about them on ozbargain.

Cheers

The anker soundbuds curve from amazon were 25-30 dollars on sale. They sound decent and the bluetooth is reliable for the gym/public transport etc when I don't want to bring QC35's.

Just waiting on my Amazon Price $10 voucher and then I'll be purchasing a pair of these. Reviews have been pretty good. With the voucher it brings the price down to $25.

      • Those look pretty interesting and good reviews too.
Where do you get the $10 vouchers from? Shipping is $5 unless over $50

Just sign up to Amazon Prime and watch a show. I just streamed something random on my PC and minimised the browser. can confirm its all good as an email was received today stating I have just received my $10.

Also note that I have just realised you can't apply the discount to this product. Only products sold and fulfilled by Amazon AU are applicable :( But I'm still going to get a pair anyway as the price is pretty good.

  • Don't you need to hear your team mates when you play basketball?

      What are team mates?

      • It's more for warm ups, drills and when I practice on my own

  • I use these (Blueant Pump Lite 2) for - gym, mountain biking, running. Havent had any issues been about 6 months so far. I like them because the cable is light and there is no volume control thing bouncing around which is good.

I'd make sure whatever you buy can hold some data on the device itself. You won't want to be carrying a phone when you play basketball. I have an older pair of Sony headphones that do this (they are also waterproof). Annoying put songs on/off the device, but nice just being able to run without a large phone on my arm.

    • I'm going to have my phone closebyish just under the hoop if possible or on the sidelines so should be fine with range

  • i picked up a pair from Kmart, $15 they last about 2.5 hrs on a charge with continued use for music. sound is fine and stay in, ive used loads of versions,(beats and various others, etc) these are good and the wires are tough, theyre also cheap so you dont poop if you bust them, still on my first pair though. they sell out, you wont be disapointed.

    • I used to used these, but the issue is the volume and control button is halfway down the wire and not on the ear device, as a result when you run around this volume control device bounces around your kneck and then pulls the earphone out. Otherwise not a bad earphone. Also I mountain bike and had my phone in the back pack, the bluetooth on this was very weak and would cut in and out as it got bumpy or my backpack moved around, same thing with running hard/fast, cuts in and out.

  • Not sure about basketball, but I run 50-70km per week and I use something similar to Mpow Cheetah or dodocool DA104. They don't have dangling/bouncing cable between earpieces, but the folding design sort of "clamps" on your head, so it does not fall out whether you are cruising on the footpath or doing a sprint. The one I use at the moment is dodocool for ~USD $15 a while ago, and each charge lasts ~6 hours.
