    The key is the item needs to be see through so light can get through to set it. Ie, I have a pair of sunnies with clear / smoke frames and it worked well. Black frames, no chance.

    The problem is that the quantity of resin in the blue bit is something like 5ml. Also the light they are overvolting, so you shouldn't run it longer than 10 seconds at a time - and you need at least a minute to set anything.

    I guess it's a good first try.

    My experience with this glue/uv curing has been this.
    It is rubbish!
    I have tried it on many different materials, prepared the surfaces by removing any oils etc and following the instructions to the letter and the end result is that the join always breaks. Not one has held together. It even states that you can further effect curing by leaving the joined item in the sun and have tried that too, no difference!
    Seriously, just don't waste your money.

      Resin does genuinely work pretty good. This doesn't really do a good job of curing it. You should see it go from clear to hazy.
