Mmmmm. I wish I set aside 599 for a vacuum cleaner, this one is meant to be great. It retails for 250 more than this in Australia I think.
Seem to recall a sale going for $420 awhile back. Currently looking at this model too.

Betta living also have it for this price with a $50 visa gift card redemption. Miele make good stuff but the bagless idea for pet hair seems a bit scary.

Here's hoping for DJ or Myers sales for warranty purposes. For the CX1 owners, how does the vacuum fare compare to others?
We've got this model of vacuum in our house, got it a few months ago to upgrade from our crappy Vax we bought that only lasted 3 months.
The suction on this thing is crazy, you have to reduce the suction power to vacuum any rugs or mats. And as a plus, there isn't any dealing with dusty bags, and has a self-cleaning filter as well :)this sounds awesome even though we have a small carpeted apartment.
how's this compare to a dyson V8 or V10 for mainly carpeted areas?
