Shopback are giving 8% for Amazon today but haven't seen many people mentioning shopback - any major difference?

  • Just bought 4.5kg for $140 and thought I had a good deal. This blitzes it.

However, is it authentic stuff? The ON website talks about counterfeit product and even has this

    https://www.optimumnutrition.com/en-us/authentic

    • +6

Sold by Amazon direct so I'm certain it will be legitimate

      • Amazon have also sold pirated games :/

    • You can usually get this from Amino Z for $127 a couple of times a year when they do 20% off.

      This deal is incredible.

  • +1

  • Bought. Thanks OP

  • Cheers OP, grabbed some protein powder and multivitamins!

  • Deals over?

  • Looks like its all gone :( still some other great deals

  • Ah Damn.

Saw this as i was leaving the office, when i come back the 4.5kg is sold out

The 2.27kg ones still work out cheaper than BN so ill grab some

    • +5

never leave office without buying protein

  • Got two 2.27Kg ones instead. $89 so still a bargain! Less the CashRewards cashback will be even better!

  • +1

Pre workout is good value for 60 serves as well!
It's decent, similar to C4 from experience.

    • +4

I really rate Gold Standard’s preworkout, I find it much better than C4 (which is what I was mainly using before). I’m ashamedly a bit stim junkie, but I find the recommended 1 scoop serving to be adequate.

Now, I’ll just wait for the inevitable comments lecturing me about how all pre-workouts are garbage/waste of money, how I shouldn’t need to take anything to get motivated for the gym, or how I should just have a banana and an espresso as a pre-workout. I guarantee that all of these comments are from people who don’t do shift work.

      • +1

Yeah never go full double scoop.
        Can't go back, haha

      • +2

they also make you think you can predict the future

        • @jobler I knew you were going to say that.

      • hi, which pre work out is that. Wanna give it a try. C4 is not working for me anymore

  • +1

Cancelled my cookies & cream order only to come back to see it gone! Ended up with vanilla, but with CashRewards..
The things you do for $6

  • Thanks! Got 4.5kg of Extreme Milk Chocolate for $79 :) (+8% cashback from Shopback)

  • +1

    4.5kg deal is back on

  • If anyone who can meet me in Sydney CBD or Chatswood can buy one of these in Cookies & Cream, I'll give you $80 for it. You can keep any further discounts and cashbacks.

    • +1

i can do this for you, can meet you in CBD

  • Thanks op! Had to get the 2.27kg tub. I think my cat would chew holes in the 4.55kg bag thinking it's cat food…

    • +1

So your cat gets jacked, problem?

  • I've purchased but money hasn't been taken from my card yet. Anyone else?

  • Good find OP.

Was in the market for pre workout and protein.

    Saved me $$$$$$$.

    • what pre workout did you get?

  • Damn, Only chocolate flavour is $80, I wanted Banana :( Good find thumbs up

  • Thank you OP

  • Anyone know if you have american prime if you can use it on amazon.au?

    • +1

Also curious about this. EDIT, nope can't do it.

  • cheapest price that I have ever seen! bought 10lbs!

  • Glad I re-checked after initial sellout. More then happy with the chocolate, if it tastes similar to BN, it will stop the chocolate bar cravings.

  • Just wondering how these goes for people with lactose intolerance?

    • I think its pretty good for lactose because WPI as well as WPC but on one of the last deals I heard they changed their ingredients and the taste is not as good and they caused some people to have some weird issues after use. go find the comments but at this price it's worth the risk.

    • I'm not intolerant but i'm not the best with lactose. I find it a heap better with almond milk or water.

      • It depends how bad you are with lactose, I have lactose issues as well as casein protein issues, Generally pure WPI works better for me than these blends especially because usually in these blends they have more WPC than WPI and i find WPC does make me…fart .. a bit….

  • Killer deal - cheers OP

  • Anyone in Melbourne can get a Strawberry for $80 and you can keep any cashback.

    • Only choc flavor in 4.5kg

  • This doesn't look right too good to be true. I know there much better quality products out there but for this insane prices you can't complain

  • Thanks. Been on the look out for a protein deal.

  • Awesome thanks heaps.

  • Anyone know how Syntha 6 Edge compares to ON Whey in terms of taste?

    • Synths 6 Edge tastes amazing, much better than Gold Standard. Has a bit more sugar in it to make it taste awesome.

      • Might as well eat Tim Tams then.

  • Anyone have any input on extreme milk choc vs double rich choc? I got the latter, hope it tastes alright.

    • +2

      yup. taste best.

      • +2

agree - double choc is better than extreme choc

        • Majority of reviews in the US seem to imply Extreme milk chock is better than double rich choc as in it came out after and is more of a milk chocolate shake taste. but maybe its a bit to sweet for some people as the double rich isnt as sweet apparently.

  • Bought a bag, even though I have 2 spare 8lb bags.. I hope the use by date is decent on this!

    • Use by date doesnt matter especially for pure protein type powders. I have had protein powders 10 years past the use by date. Now if they have like oils / fats etc added like MCT or other fats then they can go off taste wise.

  • Can i cancel prime anytime?

  • Is this deal no longer available? Clicking on the link posted by OP in description shows full price.

    • No more Extreme milk chocolate but there's a few others @ 4.5kg

  • same here. can anyone please confirm?

  • all gone :(

  • Damn I always miss out in the good deals. Thankfully I visited at the right time this morning to snag a ps4 pro

  • It's available again! Let me know if the mass gainer comes back

    • Gone again now.

  • Any idea when will the orders be processed?

    • Mine was shipped yesterday itself and showing as expected delivery tomorrow

      • Weird, mine's still not processed.

    • +2

      mine got delivered this afternoon

      • How was it delivered? Does someone have to be home to sign for it? If they arent, then what are the options? I was hoping they use Australia Post but i think they use couriers?

        • They used a local courier as I am in country side at the moment and the depot of courier is about 4 mins. away from me. I missed the delivery so they left a card and I picked it up after an hour.

      • Mine also got delivered today (2.27KG). They used AusPost for mine, and the Amazon order page said, "Package was handed to resident." (Block of units)
Don't know which resident, as when I got home the flyscreen was ajar with a huge box propping it open.
In any case happy that I wasn't required to go to the post office for it.
I think it would be comical to see how big the container for the 4.5KG whey is, as the 2.27KG container is huge anyway!

        • +1

The 4.5kg is never a container, its a plastic bag type so it takes up less space than you will think and probably saves them money over selling containers of that size. Saying that i used to buy Redbak protein back in the day and they even had large containers for 8kg and 10kg i believe. I still kept some of those containers as they are huge! and useful for transporting foods and dishes for large events or parties :).

  • Mine says 'Will dispatch Aug 7'

    • This! Lul Wut?!
