Be aware you're talking 26+ hours of travel with a changeover in Manila, vs 14 hours direct, or 18-19 hours via Nandi or Auckland. Depends on how you value your time, I guess. Baggage allowance looks to be significantly less than Qantas/Virgin direct offerings, too.

  Presumably if you play around you could get a day or two on either side. Be aware if you do pop into Manila, the traffic is crazy - took us 1.5 hours to get 7km in a taxi last time!
