  Bought it for $68 last time, although the ability to cook soup is not essential it is pretty good to have. And the soup is quite tasty too.
  Consider normally a cheap brand name blender costs at least $50, i think it is a reasonable buy at this price.

      Yeah with the $10 prime discount and 8% cashback it is actually about the same now. When the $20 code was active there was no cashback.

  I grabbed this last time they were cheap and its great at making soup. Ditch the auto programmes though, better to use the manual settings and fine tune. Can't go wrong at under $100, lots better than a Big W cheapie.

  Forget the one star review on Amazon, the other two are closer to the mark.

  Apologies for asking something that might sound plain obvious, but does it work as a regular blender?
  Like, if I'm not making anything hot or cold, just want to blend stuff, does it have a function for that?

    It's just a blender with a heated vessel. So yeah, you can set it to blend and nothing else.

  How good is Amazon's warranty? It seem like this blender won't last.
