    Anime DVD's are expensive because very few people buy it in the first place. Diehard fans will buy it at $35 or $100 but the general public will not buy it regardless.

        Depends.

        The general public are smart if this is the "agros cartoon connection" crap we got fed as kids.

        If this however is an un-modified japanese dub (no im not going to be weeb extreme and demand subs only :p) then it's worth it.

        It was just so painful to see how they reworked scenes to 'hide' the lesbian couple. Or added wierd effects to hide the PG fanservice in an effort to keep it G.

        @MasterScythe: Heh. That is so right. A lot of Western people don't know that in Japan the original Sailor Moon was a manga series which was not aimed at children whatsoever. It had themes and stories (and artwork) that was very much aimed at a more adult market.
